I’m never awake to see the reboot. Where should I start.

This motherboard cannot install mojave?

Mojave runs great on mine- did the install a few weeks after its release and used Time Machine to bring over my accounts and files.
I have successfully installed mojave 10.14.3, perfect!
Originally wanted to share, but I don't know why I can't upload efi.zip in BBS.

Hey. I updated the BIOS of the Gigabyte Z370-HD3 motherboard to version F11, and my system stopped loading. Having made a downgrade bios to the version F10, I again received a successful download. Has anyone else been like that?
I have same problem. BIOS 11 and 12 are killing my loading macOS.

I have a problem too with F12 BIOS - my Noctua NH-D15 not working, and 3 case coolers worked at full speed!
(My case - Fractal Design Define R6 Black)
Now I use F6 BIOS for this motherboard and Intel 8700K and this works great.

First is that worth it, and second if it is has anyone installed/Upgraded Catalina yet ?
Can't speak to the first question, but my upgrade to Catalina was very straightforward- did the upgrade install method <https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/update-directly-to-macos-catalina.284463/post-2011558> and later the supplemental update <https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/macos-catalina-10-15-0-supplemental-update.285293/post-2018783>, both without incident.

One issue to be aware of is that later versions of the MB BIOS seem to be difficult to use (see messages earlier in this thread). I'm still on BIOS version F8, which has been working well for me. One bonus so far has been that the new "TV App" allows Apple store purchased movies and TV shows to be played on my hack without any issues. On Mojave and earlier, iTunes would only play movie previews but not any purchased (protected) content.

Just an additional note on some things following the Catalina .1 update (to 10.15.1) that was just released. It was a bit more work that previous updates that required attention to two things:
  1. Since I am using AMD graphics (RX 580), I needed to update WhateverGreen to get past a black screen. I needed to install version 1.3.4 (unreleased at the time I updated). In my case the update worked but I had nothing on my monitors. I was able to log in via Screen Sharing and install the latest WEG directly. It would have been better to wait on the update and install the new WEG beforehand <https://github.com/acidanthera/WhateverGreen> or in the Forum's Download > Kexts menu.
  2. Bluetooth (my USB BT adapter) was failing to connect reliably. Catalina seems to have changed how the BT stack works so needed to update the kexts that load the BT driver <https://github.com/acidanthera/BrcmPatchRAM> now has an updated version 2.5.0 that seems to be working OK (fingers crossed) but the install has changed a bit from before. The solution as of now has been to remove the brcmxxx kexts entirely (from L/E in my case) and then the IOGear GBU521 Bluetooth adapter seems to be working fine again.
  3. I am using the latest (as of today r5098) Clover. It's worth knowing that Clover is reaching eol and future developments are being done around the OpenCore bootloader. I expect it will be awhile until we are forced to change over, but some kexts (WEG, Lilu, BT) might require this eventually
