Hey guys can you tell me what you have in this section please. Maybe those patches I have are causing the issue with my USB 3.0? Also notice where I have AppleIntelCPUPM box checked - that's the patch that fixed my boot issues that I described in an earlier posting. Anyways, let me know what you got and I'll test the waters next weekend. Thanks!

@ProjectIcarus
Thanks for your input. I'm trying to follow your guide for the audio and had some questions.
So the steps would be

1. revert to AppleHDA.kext
2. install the SSDT-HDEF+-1.aml
3. run audio_cloverALC-130_v0.5.command

Is that right?

thanks!
Hi eeyoree

Yes that is correct.

SSDT-HDEF+-1.aml goes in your EFI partition under EFI/Clover/ACPI/Patched

the audio_cloverALC-130_v0.5.command needs to be run with System Integrity Protection disabled.

Then it should all work fine.

I do get the occasional hang with the Apple HDA and have to reboot, so I'm not sure what's going wrong there, but overall it works.

Hey guys, I am not sure why but my usb 3.0 don't work and I am pretty sure GenericUSBXHCI isn't around. I must be doing something wrong or I have something in Clover that prevents the ports to work. I am going to remove some of the patches I have in there and give it a try again next weekend. Haven't tested the audio since I have USB audio card so I am good in that department. BUT, something strange has happened this morning and again I am puzzled as to what it is. The AppleACPICPU timeout. I couldn't load to OSX no matter what I tried. I even used USB that I installed OSX originally from. The solution is, obviously, in the clover bootloader options. There's a setting kernel/kext patches gotta select AppleIntelCPUPM (AppleACPICPU don't know the exact name). It loaded after. I patched it in the config.plist as well, saved and I am booting ok. Not sure why all of the sudden I couldn't. Some weird stuff here on my end haha. Alright till next week with the USBs ;)
What version of Sierra are you running. I'm running 10.12.6, and Unibeast 7.1.1 so I don't know if there was a change in there that fixed the USB3.0 support. Unfortunately, I'm no expert on this stuff, so I can't really offer you any suggestions apart from what worked for me.
Hope you get it sorted out :)!

This part is fixed. I will install on a regular SSD then copy to the NVME. Still trying to get the install working...

Hi. I am installing Sierra fresh on a Sabertooth x79 that has Intel 750 400GB SSD. For anyone with a working Sierra install, could you run the patcher and post kindly post the resulting NVME kext ?
I am on a Mac and the script does not detect the Sierra version or the kext.

GOOD NEWS.

Usb Fix.

Use Multibeast 9.2.1 -> 3rd party USB 3.0 + 7/8/9 Series USB Support

In boot options using Clover Configurator add -gux_defer_usb2 -gux_no_idle

Also, my ethernet stopped working so I also installed Drivers -> Network -> AppleIntelE1000e v3.3.3

@Gogen, congrats and thanks man! Glad you found my guide helpful.

The USB issue, I totally feel your pain. I still don't have USB 3 support - I followed that exact guide from youtube and got nowhere lol. I think after switching it's just too much to get done at once and brains just does not compute. :crazy: I will try to spend sometime in the next few weeks and see what I can do. The things is with SMBIOS 14.2 only first 4 usb ports work. I have two on the front panel and first 2 at the rear of the motherboard - those are the only ones working at the moment.

Also audio, that is widespread issue - I have audio interface and I get the sound that way. I would recommend getting something cheap and just run the audio through USB.

I am going to update this post when I get something going with USB 3 and all other ports. It's something I was looking forward to fixing.

Stay tuned and Cheers!
What audio interface are you using?
