Have a similar setup to you.

Does your hackintosh sleep?

The issue I'm having with mine is that it will go to sleep but quickly turn on.

Just worndering if Im doing something wrong on my end.

Thanks

Glad yours has worked out well!

Question - Did you change any bios settings other than vt-d?

I have a similar setup sans the graphics card and I cannot get past installing the os. At about 9 minutes of time left it will quit and restart the computer. Once I made it to the install of the OS but it would restart as soon as the desktop appeared.

Any suggestions?

I did not turn off the on-board graphic card in BIOS. Instead I removed one of my RAM, leaving only one stick of RAM on board.

After installation and setup of MultiBeast, I plugged the RAM back and everything goes well.

What Multibeast settings would I change for using a different graphics card? I am using an EVGA GT 740.

Hey man, if you haven't already, try updating your BIOS.
Ive got the the same MB, Z97X-UD5H-BK. NOTHING worked properly including the install, which crashed after a few minutes, until I did that update.
Everything works 100% now. Except NTFS drives of course :p

so i finally managed to install it thanks to you but...i have no LAN or Audio =(!
i did exactly what you did with no success

*Edit* My ethernet cable was not plugget correctly lol but still no audio

Miroku-Asakura, did you solved your problem with the audio ? I am facing the same issue. Right now my sound is unstable, sometimes it works and suddenly stop working, also the mic does not work at all. Please let us know if you found any solution.

Thanks in advance and thanks to Cutzzz14 for the great post, it helped me a lot.

I have the same hardware but the GPU, I need the Nvidia web driver instead. Everything works but the audio only goes out from the black port(line out?). It also can't boot when the smbios is MacPro6,1 si I have to change it to MacPro3,1

Do you think the same thing would work on El Capitan?
