[Success] WORKING Intel Wifi Drivers for 7265AC on Catalina

I'm not sure who to thank for this great solution to Intel WiFi. I have been watching the slow development for over 4 years. GREAT JOB!!! I have been using this on my HP pavilion 570-p033w desktop with an intel 7700 i7 and Catalina 10.15.0. Intel HD 620 graphics and Clover 5093. I have a Intel AC3168ngw stonePeak wifi +BT 4.2 m.2 card. I followed the suggestions in this thread and it has been working pretty flawlessly for a week now. The only problems I had were solved by resetting the pram in Clover (F11) once . My question is how do I increase the speed from 30-72mbps to the card's full 433mbps? Thanks again for your innovative solution.

I think we have to wait for the developer(s) to progress with it a lot further before we get full functionality, speeds, stability, handoff etc etc.

Tried AppleIntelWiFi.kext. A few reboots but one time I was able to ping my router, open facebook and try speedtest ~30Mb/s -then it rebooted. I think at this stage this is success. Intel AC 9560 on my Asus Z390-I.

same thing on HP X360 it freezes restarts after few sec or just after boot

Make sure AppleIntelWifi kext contains with ioctl module, compilation date 11 Apr 2020, no upload freeze or KP restart issue on speedtest.

Same as post #136 attached (AppleIntelWifi 0411.zip), @a565109863 has removed it form his GitHub repo and links of Chinese website, seems to be no longer update this kext, may be the last of AppleIntelWifi.kext

OK it worked but the speed was about 1Mbps or even less... once it was about 40Mbps but don't know how...
device is still same place and my wifi speed is about 150Mbps on other devices

If wifi speed very slow or unstable, try manual find out the best wifi channel and channel bandwidth for your district, may need reboot both router and PC each time

My 3160 AC work fine @ 2.4G b/g mixed mode only, very stable, round 14~16 Mbps download, 17~20 Mbps upload, 5G mode very unstable, 1~2 Mbps speed only.

For 7265 AC, not as stable as 3160 AC @ 2.4G mode, but work fine @ 5G mode, round 38~42Mbps download and 15~17 Mbps upload speed, enough for 4K@60 VP9 video streaming, no problem.

Below router settings work best for my 3160 AC @ 2.4G (11 b/g mixed mode only) and 7265 AC @ 5G (11 a/n/ac mixed mode).
