Hello all, this is my first post here!!
My system is as follows:
Make/Model: Samsung RV510-A05UK
CPU: Intel Pentium Dual Core 2.3 GHz
Ethernet: Marvell Yukon 88E8040
Graphics: Intel GMA 4500MHD
WiFi: Atheros AR9285
I used the method here to install a Dual Boot with Windows 7: http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/2009/11/ ... -snow.html
To summarize, I put the iBoot CD into the DVD drive, then after it loaded, I removed it and put the Snow Leopard Retail disk in its place (I have a Single Layer version). Then after the installer booted I formatted the hard drive into 2 partitions in the GUID partition layout. Next, I installed Windows 7 onto Partition 3 as in the guide I linked above. I then installed OSX, ran the COMBO updater to 10.6.8, and ran MultiBeast with the EasyBeast setting, and the OSX Tools, and Voodoo 0.2.2 (the later version give problems with Microphone screaching).
I added the following kexts:
IntelGMA3100FB.kext
Synaptics Touchpad Installer
That gives correct resolution of 1366x768 (but no QE/CI, as this is not yet possible for GMA 4500 chips), and working touchpad.
To get working wifi install the IONetworking... kext from this link to S/L/E (System/Library/Extensions on Macintosh HD, where Macintosh HD is your Snow Leopard drive). I do not know if you will need the other fix, so only install it if your internet is not working after the first kext. Remember to run Kext Utility after installing the kext then reboot!!
Kext for wifi (makes it work like AirPort!!)

NOT WORKING:
Sleep
Webcam
A full guide for installing Snow Leopard can be found here: http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/2010/04/ ... -x-on.html

I successfully installed Lion 10.7.1 using the xMove method. But this time a clean install with no dual boot.
