How did you do it ?

Off-topic in this thread for installing Mavericks but briefly :

Upgraded Clover.
Made a USB installer with createinstallmedia.
Installed Clover on the USB.
Copied apfs.efi to the USB and the /EFI partition of the HDD.
Copied config.plist and kexts from the HDD to the USB.
Installed.​

Upgraded to the final release of High Sierra through the App Store on release day.

Question is there any BIOS Updgrade for Core2Duo 6700 ?
I have Bios 1.27 and Microcode Update 1.01 from HP.
Computer Posts 1801 Microcode Update Error ...

Is BIOS 1.27 the same Bios 1.27A you wrote ?

I abandoned that DC7900 machine a long time ago. It's was my first experiment with OSX / MacOS, so, unfortunately, I don't have any of the files anymore, plus back then there was no Clover.

Hi everybody,

thanks to this tutorial, I have a plenty working hackintosh based on this DC7900 (mini tower) in Yosemite / chimera 4.1.

All is working : video (GeForce 210) and a 24" HP screen, audio (embedded), wifi (tp-link wn851nd).

Dual-boot with Windows 10 (MBR).

Can't use Clover because I don't succeed to boot Windows and the audio doesn't work in OSX.

I even done a second one for my daughter

I continue to test Clover to update to El Capitan. But I can't have the audio working, even with a USB adapter and GenericUSBXHCI kext.

An idea ?

An idea ?

I no longer use mine as I have no room for it.
I only ever used it as a server so audio was never a concern but I recall that VoodooHDA worked and my Logitech S150 USB speakers did too. Why nothing works for you I have no idea.

Edit : Have you tried the file attached to Post #36 ?
