I didn't try with a GT 210, I have a GT 710 installed now. See Post #127.

Thinking back I did actually install Sierra with the GT210 but it was so bad that i swapped it out for the GT710.

I followed your lead and bought a GT710 today. I now have full resolution and graphic acceleration

Alas tonight my 2 months old 2560x1440 24" monitor decided to commit seppuku, so for now I'm left with a much older and smaller monitor. So no extreme testing yet :-/

I have the same system but with a GT 610. Installation of Yosemite ran smoothly but when I booted into OS X for the first time, none of my USB ports worked. I can't figure out the problem..
