Well i think you should not have any problems if you run the iMac 15,1 SMBIOS Due to they use the same CPU and i think turbo boost should work but don't overclock or you will have the nullthecpumanagment

I'm not overclocking and I won't.

Using Mac Pro 3,1 I think, default multibeast parameter...

In "About this Mac" it displays 4,3 ghz, and in the system information panel, it displays 4,4Ghz processor...

I checked the BIOS, CPU frequency is set to 4,00Ghz, so far I've had long 6+ hours sessions composing music with ableton Live and Native instruments MAschine and Absynth or else, without any hiccup.


Do you mean that the CPU frequency displayed by the OS is the "turbo boosted" freq of the CPU, meaning the CPU runs at 4,00 but can boost up to 4,3Ghz natively with this setup?

Hi. I also have MOTU 24i/o with PCI-e 424 card and hackintosh (Mojave) with this build:
X58A-UD3R (Socket 1366) BIOS FH
Xeon X5650 CPU
How to get MOTU working on it?
For now macOS doesn't see it.
