I've the same MB and update from Mojave works perfectly

I have the same MB, trying to install Catalina to a separate disk, but doesn't work.
UniBeast install to an USB, 1 stall okay. After reboot, it cannot reach the Catalina Desktop, only white screen.
I am using GT740. Any advice ?
