Hello! I honestly have no idea as I've never used a water cooling system. Could you try with the stock cooler? And if the same problem persists then it might be the cooler.
Thanks for your help, like I wrote in "Edit 2" on the previous page, audio works (except for some disruptions).
I found another user with the same problem like me (froghammer) who has a GA-Z87X-UD5H. His solution was to change his RAM modules although there weren't any RAM errors.
I will change some BIOS settings, let's see whether I can keep the freezes away.
Edit: Some users reported that the freezes might be caused by the ethernet kext. I'll uninstall it and I hope this will fix it.
Edit 2: @SquadSeven: do you only use your wifi card? That may be the reason why I have the freezes while you don't.
I removed AppleIntelE1000e.kext, but the freezes still occured.Short -
I'm getting random freezing as well. I have the same mobo (GA-Z87X--UD3H, 16GB RAM) but I'm using the internal 4600 GPU inside my i7 4670K . My OS is 10.8.5.
I have suspicions that it's caused by either graphics or the Ethernet driver.
Let us know if your Ethernet kext removal made your build more stable.
