I finally decided I was ready to dual boot my new rig. I'm very pleased with the final outcome and wanted to share my build so others with this hardware can skip some of the digging that I had to do.

What works:
  • NVIDIA 1080GTX in slot 1 (PCIe x16)
  • Onboard Audio (ALC1150)
  • All USB (2.0 / 3.0)
  • Both ethernet ports
  • ASUS PCe-AC56 WiFi Card
  • iMessage / Facetime
  • iCloud
What doesn't work:
  • Nothing I've come across yet.
My system automagically downloaded my iCloud drive and synced my phone over WiFi as soon as it came up after the first reboot.

Things you need other than default:
  1. Clover Configurator
  2. NVIDIA Web Drivers
  3. AppleALC & Lilu KEXT from https://github.com/vit9696

What you need to do:
  1. Get your UniBeast USB ready. (I used the newest Sierra 10.12.4 downloaded on my MacBook Pro)
  2. Reboot into UniBeast and select the installer.
  3. Once up, Disk Utilities and format your drive as one partition, journaled.
  4. Install system.
  5. Reboot
  6. Set up for first use.
  7. MultiBeast:
  8. DO NOT REBOOT YET
  9. Install NVIDIA Web Drivers (latest)
  10. Do NOT REBOOT YET
  11. Go to /L/E/ and DELETE the FakeSMC_GPUSensors.kext
  12. Open Clover Configurator and follow these screens:
  13. Extract the ALC & Lilu zip files and:
    • Place AppleALC and Lilu KEXT in /Volumes/EFI/EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other/
  14. REBOOT!
And you have working things!

I can't see them either- what network drivers are you using?

Hi, would you mind post a solution for the PCE-AC56?
