I use this computer as my main rig switching between OS X and WIN 10. The main purpose of this machine was to directly upgrade from my 2014 iMac 5k which got me about 20-25 FPS gaming and now I’m over a 100 FPS in most games. And they say you can’t game on a Mac HAHA!
Installation:
STEP 1: PLEASE NOTE THIS WAS 10.12 NOT 10.12.1 See this link on how you can download 10.12.
- Start by downloading macOS Sierra on a existing Mac or Hackintosh from App Store.
- After you are done, you will have a new app in your Applications called “install macOS Sierra”
- Insert USB 2.0 or 3.0 into a empty USB drive on your computer.
- Do a spotlight search for DISK UTILITY or open Open /Applications/ Utilities/ Disk Utility
- Select the USB drive to the left.(NOT 2nd drop down window) *VERY IMPORTANT DO NOT SELECT YOUR CURRENT HARD-DRIVE*
- Erase button at top middle
- Name is Sierra, Format : OS X Extended (Journaled), Scheme : GUID Partition Map
- Erase
- Click link and Log in to Tonymacx86 site or register, then download UniBeast latest version 7.0.1 ATM. https://www.tonymacx86.com/resources/categories/tonymacx86-downloads.3/
- At top right of page then click download button.(You must make a account on tonymacx86 site to download)
- Click Continue, Continue, Continue, Continue, Agree.
- Pick the USB and then Continue.
- Select Your Sierra OS X
- Select UEFI Boot Mode
- Select nothing for Graphic injects
- You should have at Summary: USB, Sierra, UEFI Boot Mode then continue.
Step 4:

- Click link to download latest version of Nvidia Drivers and then drag that to your USB. http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/107807/en-us
- Plug USB into computer you wish to install OS X Sierra on.
- During start up press Del key several times during start up/splash screen.
- Load the following BIOS settings:

Super IO Configuration-> Disable—————PERIPHERALS TAB
VT-d ->Disable——————————————CHIPSET TAB

Boot Option #1 -> UEFI USB drive————————BIOS FEATURES TAB
SAVE & EXIT
XMCI Hand-off ->Enable ————————PERIPHERALS TAB

Step 6:
- During new load screen select Boot Mac OS X From USB.
- Choose your language.
- At top menu bar choose Utilities and Disk Utility
- Highlight the drive you wish to install Sierra on (Make sure you don’t pick your USB drive)
- Erase drive
- Name is Sierra, Format : OS X Extended (Journaled), Scheme : GUID Partition Map
- Close Disk Utility
- Continue with installation and select Sierra as your drive you wish to install OS X too.
- Computer will take about 15 minutes to install the OS X to the drive then restart
- At boot screen select the New Sierra option usually at the right.
- Finish OS X installation steps with your personal information like WiFi, computer name, & iCloud.
- USB drive should open if not open it.
- Select MultiBeast.
- Select the following commands:
-UEFI Boot Mode
-Realtek Audio ALC1150 & 100 series Audio
-IntelMausiEthernet v2.2.0
-System Definition 14,2
-Realtek Audio ALC1150 & 100 series Audio
-IntelMausiEthernet v2.2.0
-System Definition 14,2
Step 9:
- At boot screen select Sierra.
- Open USB and run Nvidia Drivers
- After installed restart computer & remove USB.
- During Gigabyte boot screen press DEL several times to get back into BIOS
- Go under BIOS Features TAB and change Boot Option #1 to UEFI Sierra drive
- Save and exit.
PS. If you Nvidia drivers did not stick and you booted but had glitchy lines running though screen or your Graphics Card is not show under APPLE LOGO TOP LEFT- ABOUT THIS MAC- GRAPHICS follow next step.
1. Mount EFI Partition LINK: https://www.tonymacx86.com/resources/efi-mounter-v3.280/
2. Open /Volumes/EFI/EFI/CLOVER/config.plist with text edit, Xcode, or Plist Editor Pro
3. Edit the following usually towards the bottom:

UPDATING TO 10.12.1:
Update using the App Store update tool.
everything continued to work besides Nvidia drivers but I just went into
System preferences > NVIDIA Driver Manager > Graphic Drivers> Checked for update > installed new software> restart.
This fixed my GTX 970 and audio stayed working as well as all other settings.
