Update for the others - it seems like things could end up a lot easier than I thought:
here we go:
UniBeast installation - MultiBeast settings:
Ethernet 3.3x version
System definition 6,2
Result: proper screen resolution and a sort of unorthodox way to get both monitors working if aiming at the proper Framebuffer thing - update tomorrow after getting some sleep and jotting down the path of Hackintool and me on the trail to HDMI audio.

I realize it’s been a really long time since you asked this but I’m running mine with the latest version of Catalina(10.15.7). Still pretty flawless. I never bothered setting up hdmi audio but everything else is perfect.
