I have the MSI B360m Mortar and an Intel i5-9600 currently without a graphics card, and I am running into a kernel panic while trying to boot install. Do you have any advice for me? I can send a pic of verbose just before the kernel panic

I just installed Catalina and everything works except for USB 3.0 and 3.1. Sleep works too. There is one oddity: I can't boot when using HDMI, but DVI works great

My specs:
i5-9400F
B360m Gaming Plus
M.2 SSD Samsung 970
Gigabyte ATI RX 560

You need to create a USB Map SSDT or Kext, and do a frame buffer patch.

I need help
You don't need help, you just need a supported graphics card.
