GPU(1): Intel HD 4000 (1.5GB) -> LCD Monitor
GPU(2): ATI Radeon HD 7770 (1GB) -> LCD Monitor
in this setup, the HD7770 can not make use of the HD4000 for hardware video acceleration, any video playback using HD7770 will lost hardware video acceleration

the better option should be
GPU(1): Intel HD 4000 (1.5GB) -> configured as headless mode, empty framebuffer, ig-platform-id = 01620007
GPU(2): ATI Radeon HD 7770 (1GB) -> LCD Monitor x2

Good sir, would you mind explaining how to achieve this?

I moved to OpenCore and Big Sur and I am trying to figure out how to have Hardware Acceleration.

I've tried this and it doesn't work.

set the device Properties, something like that
Code:
    <key>DeviceProperties</key>
    <dict>
        <key>Add</key>
        <dict>

It was worth a try. It didn't work for me.

I guess it is. However, it was the only one that was not giving me kernel panics when I upgraded to Big Sur and had everything working perfectly but the graphics acceleration.

since iMacPro1,1 hardware configuration do not come with IGPU (Xeon W-21xx CPU), therefore if you are using the SysDef iMacPro1,1, macOS won't use the IGPU for video hardware acceleration

Oh, I see. Which SMBIOs would be better? iMac18?

I don't want to use an SMBIOS so far back that it would not be supported in Big Sur. I started with iMac 14,2 I believe.

I have an MSI RX 580 8GB coming but I would like to have as much info on this thread as possible for any people with the hardware described in the thread title.

The new RX 580 (working Out Of the Box) granted me the video hardware acceleration needed.

The BIOS still has the internal graphics card as the default one but all my monitors are connected to the x2 HDMI & x1 DP, with x1 DP available.

Audio is working perfectly through HDMI on the first HDMI port.

Boots fine without changes in the OpenCore config from this thread.

I removed the radpg=15 flag that I had for the MSI Radeon HD 7770. Also, in the BIOS, I disabled the Intel graphics card and everything works perfectly using only de RX 580 including HDMI audio.
