Install 10.9 and apply multibeast after upgrade to 10.9.1 you just need to install graphic driver with multi beast again. The IGPlatformID is crucial for system to boot up without -x as it helps hd4000 driver loaded properly. Credit to this link

Made my USB Key with UniBeast 5.0.2. and a fresh download of Maverick from App Store.

After installation, I can't get the HD to boot even with the USB Key still in.

hi ratteler,

i have the same build as you.

F8 Bios (came that way.)
i3-3225 CPU @ 3.30Ghz
16GB of RAM
2TB ST2000DM001 HD.

i can install the os from the usb-hdd.

but i am not able to boot from internal hdd after reboot.

can you help me?

Thanks

Not yet. I decided to start from scratch.

Now the USB Key fails after flashing a second of the Apple start screen, and the whole machine reboots.

Latest try.

Followed everything from

http://www.tonymacx86.com/mountain-...3-3225-ivy-bridge-mountain-lion-10-8-2-a.html

with the exception of using 10.9 instead of 10.8.2.

I get to the Chimera(?) boot screen, with icons to boot from my OS X Install USB, and the System drive it installed to that time it worked.

tried

-v -x -f GraphicsEnabler=Yes PCIRootUID=1

tried

-v -x -f GraphicsEnabler=No PCIRootUID=1

Tried leaving PCIRootUID=1 off.

I get a flash of the gray apple logo and then the machine restarts.

Any ideas? Anyone?

Is it any better with Yosemite?
