[SUCCESS] Maverickintosh - Z77-DS3H Rev.1.0 F9 - i5 2500K - HD6850 - 16GB - ML 10.9

My Z77-DS3H Rev.1.0 F9 Audio looks like work , but after 10 minuts i hear some bad sounds with many defects. i try to install Optional 3 ports Audio Enabler , but with this kext my audio don't work at all.

Sorry to hear that. I don't use the onboard sound as I have a Creative Xmod USB sound card.

Thanks so much Man! , i have a google chrome bug , because now i use creative sound card (http://asia.creative.com/p/sound-blaster/sound-blaster-play ) and i have same audio lags, so if someone have audio static noise its no hackintosh bug. thx for link, it very helpful
 
Just curious. Is there a difference between the different hardware profile? Say MacPro 3,1 and iMac 12,2.

MacPro 3,1 is the definition that will be the most stable for most builds.
Different definitions reflect the various hardware configurations and you may wish to try one that fits your hardware the closest.

Note : Be aware that some definitions that use ECC RAM will cause kernel panics if you select them without deleting /System/Library/Extensions/AppleTyMCEDriver.kext

As P1lgrim stated, MacPro3,1 is the System Definition (SysDef) that will make your installation successful. However, using another SysDef can provide power management enhancements and enable AirPlay Mirroring. I've tried several SysDefs and mostly stay with the default MacPro3,1. Ah ok. Looks like it doesn't really matter to my system as I think it finds power management P and C states already. Tried iMac12,1 and Macpro5,1 as well (removing the ECC memory kext) and didn't see any difference.

Short of doing a MSR dump and decoding the hex values, any way to determine my CPU state?

Thanks that worked. Also found Intel Power Gadget for people who wants a more graphical tool. In DPCIManager, I see the 3 states - 16, 21 and 34 which corresponds to the load I generate on the system. The Intel tool has the benefit of showing both power and frequency. I draw around 7W average and CPU hovers around 2.2Ghz (it's a i5-2500K). Running Geekbench, I see it jump to 3.4Ghz (which matches the Turbo Boost value for 4 cores running). Now to find a single threaded app that'll run up the CPU.
