It should be 8.x gb for the installer. Do you mean after its loaded to system?

I just did the update,

Super simple just started the update and each time it rebooted I selected:

2) Boot macOS Install from Catalina - Data

I did this each time until the only option was to boot from Catalina. Took around 20 minutes and booted straight to my desktop. Everything appears to be working.

I did not update any Kexts

Hi all !

Finally I turn to the Opencore method! I know we can not talk about this method on this site !!
I install MacOS Catalina on an external hard drive because with my internal ssd hard drive or I share 60go it will not work.

By cons startup time is a bit long I saw some video on youtube or it is much faster and no loading.
How can you turn this off?
