After a clean install, the most up to date clover (4644), a lot of drinking, swearing, face palming, falling asleep in my office chair several nights in a row and pulling my hair out... I only had to disable "Memory Profile 1" in the BIOS.........

So far, so good. I'll let ya know if anything changes.
You're officially part of the club now, Lol. you're running the latest bios right?.
My XMP Profile 1 is engaged, and everything works fine. As should yours ;) -Please don't curse at me, lol.

So I'm back from vacation, and I'm still having trouble with this setup.
I'm now also getting these kernel panics a couple of times a day. Quite annoying. I suspect it could be some software I'm using, but It's hard to say.. I will try to disable some software and see if that works. Could take days to figure out though.

Another thing.. Do you have this screen coming up right before Clover launches?

Seams to be related to APFS?

Erlend

@figgy78,

Yes, that screen snapshot shows it's related to apfs.efi. To get rid of it, update Clover to the latest one in Downloads > Clover Builds. Then, remove the apfs.efi from .../CLOVER/drivers64UEFI/. Reboot. You shouldn't see that output anymore.

As for your KPs, best to check out one of @kgp's Guides.

@figgy78,
update Clover to the latest one@kgp's Guides.
Brilliant! That did the trick. I guess they just disabled early logging to the screen?

I will check out the guides. Thank you!

I tried to look into the kernel panics I'm getting.
Here is my kernel panic log:

The backtrace mentions "com.nvidia.web.NVDAResmanWeb". Is that the Nvidia Web drivers? I have version 387.10.10.10.40.105 (latest release for macOS 10.13.6) installed.

You're officially part of the club now, Lol. you're running the latest bios right?.
My XMP Profile 1 is engaged, and everything works fine. As should yours ;) -Please don't curse at me, lol.

Yes, I am running the most up to date BIOS available for this mobo. But, it is the lesser board. So I am assuming (willing to bet even) there is some restriction or blocked feature in the BIOS that's preventing the configuration I have with that profile.

I have already decided to upgrade to one of the higher end x299 mobo's. I'll post back when I do upgrade it and let you know how it goes. Thanks for the moral support anyhow! :)

Hi! I have your own motherboard Gaming 7, and I'm trying to install macOS Mojave, but I can not install it. You could tell me how to make ?? Mobo Gigabyte Aourus Gaming 7 (X299), GTX 1080 Ti. Thanks a lot.

Hey @robifis !
I successfully installed High Sierra on my new build yesterday thanks to your work on the EFI (which I based mine off of) and I'm super excited about stabilizing my High Sierra Hackintosh build after being able to finally have a successful HS installation on my guinea pig drive.

Unfortunately I keep getting... seemingly random reboots (due to kernel panics). I know for sure one of the causes for the crashing comes from trying to use iMessage even though I carefully followed the steps from kgd's guide. I've provided the crash logs from Nov 15th 2018 (the day I am posting this comment) as well as my EFI folder. I'm on original bios.

I provided all of my crash logs from today (Nov 15th 2018). If you or anyone else can help me figure out what might be causing this I would be extremely grateful.

Hi!
I’ve been having kernel panics almost every day the last year. I gave up on fixing them for a while, but seeing you having similar problems is giving me some new sparks of light at the end of the tunnel.

I looked at your panic report, and I don't really have a scientific solution for you, but I was getting the exact same panics a few days ago. I believe this is related to the USB power or something maybe even general power to the system (This is what I read). I fixed it by moving a few USB cables around on the back of my machine. I don't get them anymore. Now I'm back to the "normal" nvidia related panics.

Please keep us posted on your progress.
