I did a successfull clean installation of Mac OS High Sierra 10.13.1 on my old Hack.

Installation

1. Downloaded the High Sierra app from the App Store.

2. Prepared the Installation USB stick from the forum's High Sierra Installation guide.

3. There were some troubles to find the hard drive, where I want to install. I solved it via using the installer of Windows 10. Where I deleted the existing clover, created system partition 500 mb and left with the other space as unformated.

4. Booted from the USB stick ( High Sierra installer) in "-v" and this time Disk Utility recognised my HD for High Sierra.

5. Formated a partition in APFS and started the installation. My computer restarted 2 times before I achieve the desktop of High Sierra.

6. At all, didn't had any problems during the installation, everything was very fine.

Post Installation.

1. Downloaded Multibeast 10 and selected the drivers for my Configuration

2. Audio worked fine, but the ethernet card not, needed to copy the kext for the Lan
Mieze's port of the Realtek Linux v8.037.00 driver Version 2.2.1 to in EFI/EFi/Clover/kexts/10.13 . After reboot the ethernet was online too.

3. The biggest problem in post installation was the video.
I downloaded the Nvidia web drivers and installed. After reboot received black screen. For some reasons, that I had before from 10.12.4 after update of the Nvidia drivers always resulted a black screen after system boot. I solved that problem in clover configurator, in SMBIOS where I changed to iMac 11,3 closest to my hardware, BUT took the BOARD ID from IMAC 14,2. After reboot I had working Nvidia too, I use only HDMI.

4. Tried out the HW Monitor with it plugins, but for now, this not seems to working like before.

However I didn't tested the sleep mode because I know it will not work, when I change the board ID how I did use the video before.

I did this install to test it, and seems everything is fine on my old Hack. But for now I am going back to 10.12 . Seems there is no solution how can convert or make visible older formated drives. I have a lot of audio samples and stuff on them. Soo can't wait 3-4 months without using them :)

I am another Hackintosh using the same hardware for 6 years and it is still running smooth. I had Sierra and decided to go for High Sierra a few days ago. I use Clover configuration in Sierra and wanted to try use the native upgrade but in vain.

The native upgrade from 10.12 to 10.13 failed and I finally had to create USB installer. I used the clover USB and it did not work either and finally I switch to unibeast USB installation. It finally works. I am on 10.13.6 now.

So I have a few notes here to share with you if you are also using this old but work hardware like me.

1. There are two different kind of file systems: APFS and traditional HFS plus you need to choose. Please think twice before you started which file system you want to go with. If you want APFS, you will have to get prepared for some trial and errors due to the filesystem will make you not able to see your drive. I went with APFS and I make it. If you want HFS+, please note to use the no conversion command.

2. Make sure you copy the apfs.efi to the USB. Follow this one.

3. I experienced freeze from time to time and it is because of the ACIH10 issue. The freeze will have the HDD LED on and freeze is random. Follow this one to get it fixed.

4. I share my config.plist here

5. I share also FakeSMC.kext and NullCPUPowerManagement.kext.

I have found that using Model MacPro 5,1 in my CLOVER config.plist allows my socket 1156 board to run High Sierra and Mojave without any CPU PM configs/kexts. Speedstep and Power Management work natively. Not sure if you have the same success with your socket 1156 systems, but here's my thread in case you're curious:

https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/mojave-on-biostar-th55hd-socket-1156.268254/

My specs are:
Intel core i7 860
DFI Lanparty P55 - T3eh9 board
8 GB DDR3 Memory
Sapphire Pulse RX570 4GB

Initially I had a Sapphire HD7770 and I got eveything to work with 10.12.6 Sierra. Then my graphics card conked off so I bought a Sapphire Pulse RX570 which is supposed to be supported OOB. I tried to do a native upgrade and botched the whole installation. I am now trying to start fresh but can seem to go to installation because I get a black screen while booting.
I have tried following things,
with and without Radeondeinit
With and without Whatevergreen and Lilu in EFI/Clover/Kexts/Other
With and without Orinoco frame buffer.

Any advice how I could get to High sierra or Mojave installation?

@amuse.me I have read that XFX cards are problematic. But people have flashed their XFX cards with sapphire Vbios to get them working with Mac OS. I followed MaLd0n advice and used DP port while Mojave Installation. I did get display and sound on DP port right of the box. But a strange thing has happened. I do not have an EFI partition on my installation disk. I am working to resolve that.

Initially I was using HDMI to HDMI cable. Same thing also used to happen to me.
