yes i am a 32 lives user myself. Great program, the only thing I use it for is an old copy of autotune EFX 1. I have autotune efx 3 but the pitch tuning is too intelligent so I told Antares to send me efx 2 thinking it would work better only 64 bit, nope same as 3, so I got autotune 1 from them and bridged it with 32 lives au / blue cat patchwork in pro tools 11hd. Runs great.

ok guys, have no choice than try it myself and see if every plug-ins i am using still works... thanks again

Dear All,(especially @ malki):

I have a X99 Hackintosh, GB UD4 Motherboard, 32 gig ram, 5930K cpu, bios F12, bufferize 512, 44.1 khz, RME pcie card, oSX Yosemite. 10.10.5.

Bios loaded optimized defaults.

In all DAW programs i use, i easily get a one core overload , causing enormous crackling sound, while only using 1 virtual instrument,
playing it when that track is record enabled.

I know for sure there is something completely not right, maybe a bios setting, or other things, that make this hack completely disperform in DAW's.
An example: i load a complete empty Logic X project with only 1 Alchemy instrument loaded, i record enable it and play only 1 note.
Outcome: i can see 1 core completely to the roof, causing enormous crackling.
On my macbook 2015, same project, no problem.
In other DAWs like Live and Reaper, i experience the same issue of 1 core maxing out very easy and fast.

I am really pulling my hairs out atm.
I have read that X99 isnt the best platform for making a hack, lots of problems with power management etc.
I tried to turn off all power management related settings in BIOS, like turn off speedstep, p c states etc etc.
But then , my hack doesn't startup anymore and i have to do reload optimized defaults in bios.

I am really a complete noob in this kind of solving things.

Please, please help me, i am eagerly willing to pay for help, money is not a problem, if only my x99 could behave better in DAWs and doesn't
suffer from the "easy 1core overload" problem, which makes working in daws impossible for me.

Warm regards from Holland.

I am sorry to hear that and also apologize for late response! I hope you are not still having this problem. Here's my recommendation:

1. Upgrade bios to F23 via gigabyte website https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-X99-UD4-rev-10#support-dl

2. Upgrade computer to Mac OS Sierra (use my guide): https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...sierra-10-12-clover-guide-100-working.203769/

3. reinstall daw programs and see if it still behaves like that. Make sure set bios to "Load Optimized Defaults" Thats it! Don't need to change anything else. If you have a good cpu cooler then you can do auto overclock to 4.3ghz this works well for me. I also have ram overclocked to 2400mhz using profile 1 auto overclock.

I use Pro tools and my cpu usage is great. I have not used this computer with Logic

Dear malki,
Many thanks for your great help.
I really appreciate it.

Warm Regards !
