Hey, I have everything done like in the post.
But if I try to install from USB I get this Screen.

View attachment 186597 and than like this View attachment 186600

Asus X99a
Intel 5820k
Gigabyte 970 G1 Gaming

Someone an Idea what can be wrong?

try either OsxAptioFix2Drv or OsxAptioFixDrv (if 1 doesn't work try the other) both with test2.efi and it shouldn't do that

Thanks for an awesome guide in advance! I used it amongst 10 other guides to get my build up. I'm using a 5820k and an asrock x99m usb 3.1 mobo, but I'm only getting around 22250 on geekbench. Wonder if I'm missing a crucial setting or something any suggestions? Power management and speed step is working overclocked to 4.5. Thanks for your help!

if your running 32 bit that should be about right

dont forget the -v in your boot flags so you boot verbose and can see when exactly you are getting the kernel panic with the installer.

I think 22k mark for stock 5820k(and stock memory) is "too high" - in my stock 5820k I get something about 19k
By just doing the math about stock 5820k at 3.3ghz and "super clocked" to 4.5 we have

4.5 ghz / 3.3 ghz = 1.363 * 19k ~ 26k

If you have 22250 at stock then you should get above 30k at 4.5ghz

If you have 22k at 4.5 then the mark is low...

Yep, same thought, thats why I think something is not kosher. The temps on the processor are good though, the H100I is a beast of an out of the box cooler, so I'm not concerned about the overclock, just wondering where the 3-4K of benchmark went.

Hello,

I can't seem to find the download links from 'LokiCat' in the supplied thread: http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capita...od-news-x99-10-11-haswell-e-el-capitan-4.html

I downloaded some files from the first person's post, though. I'm assuming these are the right ones?

they updated tonymacx86 so that link no longer points to the right place

this is the right link now

Quick question, did you also patch the AppleGraphicsControl.kext as described by LokiKat in his post?

FYI, this is my build:

CPU - i7 5820k
Mobo - Asus X99-Pro/USB3.1 LGA2011-3
GPU - Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970
RAM - Corsair Vengeance 16GB
PSU - eVGA 220-G2-0750-XR 750W
Cooling - Noctua NH-D14
SSD - Samsung Evo 850 500gb

Okay, this is the closest I've come to booting from Clover. I have followed all of the instructions to the letter (I think) and am still getting crashes while booting (screenshot attached)

I have tried both OsxAptioFixDrv and OsxAptioFix2Drv options, also.

Not sure where to go from here. This is my first hackintosh, so I'm fairly green to all of this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
