I am using MSI X99S SLI Plus.. with DDR4 Corsair RAM.. everything works fine.
Interesting, did you do it the same way as described for the Gigabyte motherboards? Or were there some differences?
And if it works with MSI and Gigabyte boards, any reason it shouldnt work for an Asrock Extreme4 or 6?
What is your system build? We're looking to build a video editing workstation.
So after 2-3 Months of not having any Issues, i have a problem.
My hackintosh just stuck in the White Loading Screen and only loads 1/4 of the bar.
So i Boot Verbose to see whats wrong. Here a picture, maybe you could help me with this.
I have Maverick 10.9. Please send me the link to gtx 970 web driver
The 750/900 series graphics cards are only supported in Yosemite and only using the Yosemite nVidia Web drivers. So, you will have to upgrade to Yosemite.
For all the nVidia Web drivers, I recommend this listing: http://www.macvidcards.com/which-driver-should-i-install-for-my-new-gpu.html
HELP!!! I have almost the same exact hardware as youColton328 but I'm not able to boot to the installer. Only difference in hardware is my case, my hard drive is a Samsung 500G SSD, and I have the i7 5630k instead of the 5620k.
When I follow your steps and use all of these... npci=0x2000 nv_disable=1 -f -x -v ... I get this (keeps going forever):
When I follow your steps and use ONLY npci=0x2000 it looks like it is booting, but freezes here:
I don't ever get the screen you show:
Please help! I've been trying to get this to work for months! Am I missing something?
Thanks in advance.
If you'd read the rules and put you hardware specs in you profile as required, you may get some help. I'm not looking up another users build to help anyone... Luck with it.
Can someone help me please?
I have kind of the same system as Colton328 and it was running like a charm until yesterday. The last few days I did the following changes:
- I disabled XHCI handoff and set XHCI to manual. After that I installed the GenericUSBXHCI.kext for USB 3.0 support
- I installed the NullCPUPowerManagement.kext
- I updated the Nvidea drivers for my gtx 750 to the latest webdrivers for osx 10.10.3
- I installed this apple broadcom wifi-card: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Set-of-Hacki...-/191464742655
Now when I startup my hackintosh it hangs at the apple logo (after i booted with clover) and I get the grey stop sign. First I could recover from my CCC backup, but since it worked after that, I updated my backup and now that also won't work anymore. In Verbose mode I get the following message:
Thanks very much in advance! I'm really touching in the dark here..
