Oh, really nice to know.
It looks like it works perfectly, I am really glad, as I am thinking about buying that motherboard (in fact, I was thinking about UD3 instead, but it looks like this one is better compatible wise).
Just 2 questions:
1) The step 5) is in in the EFI folder of the installer too?
2) How did you make it work the Radeon R9 390?? What framebuffer? Here they say there is not support:
http://www.tonymacx86.com/graphics/171291-radeon-compatibility-guide-ati-amd-graphics-cards.html
could you please update it in the following the previous link with your findings? Could be 390x supported as well?

Obviously it should be much better if you can do a proper step by step guide, in order to make it work for sure without any glitch
or problem.

EDIT: Another thing, could you please post the cinebench r15 results screen capture?

Thanks for everything.

I'll do it as soon as I can. For the Radeon R9 390, in Clover, I put it on FB "Radeon", with a FakeID of 0x67B01002, and InjectATI on true.

Good Guide.

Can you install HW monitor and the GPU monitoring work?

I have the same GPU but mine is not working.

I just wondering this issue is from El Capitan or the GPU it self.

Thanks!

Joe.

I was not able to get the readings from the GPU, I think this is because it is not working OOB.

The table says that the card is supported, but many people have a lot of bugs, that's way we don't recommend those Hawaii cards. Nvidia is a better choice atm.

@nicegamer7: I'm pretty sure that sleep/wake won't work properly...

In the guide says that the DevID for r9 390 is 0x67B1, so, why are you using 0x67B01002 (r9 390x) instead of 0x67B11002 (r9 390)? Maybe I am wrong, but I would like to know why you use the other one.

Thanks.

I'm trying to find a thorough guide to use for myself when I do my install. I am running a Gigabyte ga-z170x gaming 5. How different would it be from using this guide?

Hello.
My system: GA-z170-hd3, cpu g4400, 8 GB ddr4 memory, hd7770.
If ioapic 24-119 disabled, I got a "panic(cpu 0 caller 0xffffff80...)":
panic 1.jpgpanic 2.jpg
Bios: F6f
tried with hd7770 and without.
USB flash (10.11.3) created with unibeast 6.1.1, also tried with terminal - same result.
Used the IOAPIC Patch, also USBInjectAll.kext - same result.
Tried without FakeSMCSensor's.
