[success] HS 10.13.2 bootproblems with GA X58-UD5

Hi together, after install 10.13.2 update from App-store my hacky always needs a lot of reboots to start proper. Clover (4359) and apfs.efi is up to date. It seems it hangs somewhere in io... (saw this with -v but its very fast...). Sometimes he need 3 and sometimes 15 reboots. When booted, everything is fine. Boot from ssd on the Asus U3S6 - card. Never had any problem. Reinstall nvidia webdriver and also the combo update, no change. With -x option boots direct in OS. Any answers or help?

--- found an old kext for my SoundBlaster PCI-card from kx-Project, removed it and anything was well !

hello, how did you install the U3S6 card under macos 10.13? I can not find the right KEXT. thank you very much

When the card U3S6 is unplugged, no problem to boot high Sierra.
