could you please upload the EFI for a test, and I have tried to install on Dell Precision T5810, and it gives me the error of 'dose printif work?'

How would I do that, and for my own knowledge, why?

Hi guys, I just bought an Optiplex 990 and I'm having the hardest time having it "see" my UEFI USB stick. I created it with Clover, UEFI boot option using the latest version of UniBeast and it won't see it in the BIOS.

Of course I have it set to UEFI mode and ACHI drive mode. No dice. Anything else I could check? My previous system had no trouble booting from the UEFI USB.

@daveydave, please update your profile (personal details) with your Motherboard, CPU and Graphics Card.
If you have a prebuilt computer enter make and model instead of motherboard (Mobo).

Hi Brebo, I'm not sure what kind of motherboard Dell uses in their Optiplex 990 but I updated what I could. Thanks!

Hi I have the same issue as daveydave above. I cannot boot from the UEFI Unibeast created USB. This will boot on an HP 8300 though and so I know it is the Dell 990 (Small Form Factor, Bios: A20) and not the USB or anything that was done wrong.

Can anyone advise how to get this UEFI booting on the Dell please ?

I had the same problem. Specifically the computer would say "Selected boot device failed to boot" (putting that here since I kept searching that on google and didn't find the fix). On Optiplex 990, Bios updated to A20.

Also, just like you, my UEFI USB would work on other computers, in my case my HP laptop, but not on the stupid desktop.

SOLUTION: I created the High Sierra using Unibeast 8.1.0 using the LEGACY method (not UEFI). That got me to clover and am installing HS as we speak.

Did you install the High Sierra from legacy or UEFI?
I tried both.

Actually I think i jinxed myself. After I wrote that, my install doesn’t want to go past the first reboot. It just says it can’t find osinstall.mpkg

Sigh

I have tried a few things, including updating the fakeSMC to ver 3.50 to no avail

@NAVKUMAR you can just try rebooting it. I noticed this since switching from UEFI boot USB (which didn't work on this PC) to Legacy. Its as if sometimes works but not every time. I managed to get it installed and had it looking OK on-screen (with onboard gfx for now) but on running Multibeast I now have a corrupt screen. More work to do I think.

PS Its working now (Legacy) with ATi HD 5450. I found a post somewhere on this site about how to get this card working by using Clover Configurator and adding a fake-ID. I have the full graphics now in 1080p and it looks nice :)
