Update:
USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports working flawlessly, I can share my patch if anyone wants.

Hey GMarz,
Can you share you USB patch? I've done extensive work in this area and can only mount one usb 3.0 drive at a time. Would love to know what worked for you.

How does this mobo work with macOS Sierra? Does everything work?
Sleep/Wake from sleep , Audio, USB-C, USB 3.1 ? Thunderbolt ?
I installed Sierra on a spare SSD (17.1 smbios with Nvidia gpu) to test it out and I was amazed how fast and easy the install went. What works: audio, usb3, ethernet, usb 3 and usb-c (tested by transferring files with my Nexus 6p). The only issue I am having is the computer doesn't wake from sleep. When I try to wake the computer with the mouse, nothing happens. I have to hold the power button down to reboot. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.

On El Capitan everything works perfectly using the 17.1 smbios.

Edit- got sleep/wake working with darkwake=0 on Sierra

I've had success getting the USB3 working with just using Multibeast on OSX10.11, you need to install 3.0 3rd party and increase port limit

Cmfusco11's Build:
GIGABYTE GA-Z170X-UD5 TH - i7-6700K - GIGABYTE GTX 970
...

Hey Cmfusco11,
I am considering an identical build. I didn't see you talk about the Thunderbolt port. Are you able to use it? Do you have drivers for it? Its my understanding that El Capitan doesn't support Thunderbolt 3. If that is the case why did you select this motherboard? Can you get Thunderbolt 2 to work on it with El Capitan?
