Already Owned
PSU: Used from previous build, some 450W corsair, not modular, but it actually fit even tho it had like massive amount of cables, and I managed to hide them :-D
Comments
Things to buy later: SSD, Possibly some corsair half-water cooling system to be even more quiet, Blue braided cables for stylizing the inner cable-management system
Running: Mountain Lion 10.8.5 with suplemental update
SMBios: iMac 13,2 (Works perfect for this)
Chameleon settings: darkwake=0, Use Kernel Cache, Legacy_logo, DSDT!(originally used the one from this repository, but after that I did my own, because sleep did not work), Restart fix, drop SSDT (ssdt in /E/), Enable C3 State (also in bios).
What works:
Bluetooth
Native PWM
Ethernet (both)
Well, gonna shorten the list = everything works!
What doesn't work:
Wifi (card not supported, but bluetooth on the same card works out of box!!)
Nothing else
If anyone wants to see pictures of this build just let me know, I haven't taken any yet, but I can Regarding the installation, I had to put the tonymacx86 DSDT from the DSDT Database for this board on the flash drive otherwise I couldn't boot to installation, no idea why, later I had to create my own because sleep didn't work (couldnt wake up, black screen), also used famous script to generate ssdt, works fine, running on appleintelcpupowermanagement, there is nothing that wouldn't work, except the wi-fi which was expected to not work from the beginning, but I'm gladly surprised about the Bluetooth ) Regarding the CPU cooler, I was trying to find a good cooler which would fit this board without killing other slots (gfx, ram) and this one is GREAT ! it keeps the cpu under 30 and still leaves plenty of space for gfx and ram, the best deal for this board+case combo!
