This is great, thanks for posting. I can't get audio to work right now, though I'm working on it. I can confirm UEFI works other than that. Just don't make the same mistake I did if upgrading after updated bios - DELETE YOUR EXTRAS FOLDER - otherwise it wont boot :) And make a backup of your Lion install with SuperDuper! or similar, saved me :)

Edit: Actually, I can confirm audio is working after selecting "UserDSDT or DSDT-Free Installation" (read description for instructions), as well as Without DSDT -> ALC889. The installation failed, but it seems to be working regardless.

Hi!,

I'm in the process of installing ML in this same board. Sorry if this is a dumb question but, what dsdt should I be downloading if I update to EUFI? I have seen that here at tonymac the last one is the one for F12. On the other hand is it better to update the board to F12 or as you do flash UEFI one?

Thanks in advance.

After updating BIOS to UEFI there is no need for a DSDT file.

Oh, I see thanks a lot for the information.

On the other hand I have ran into a big problem. I had a usb hd from where I started my osx lion installation. I had a lion installation working too. Now when I try to boot into the Lion installation or to run the installer from the usb hd it allways throws a kernel panic (you can see the message in the image below). I'm pretty lost here, if anyone could help I would really apreciate it. This obviously has happened after updating to the uefi bios. Must I configure it with any specific values?

THanks in advance.

This thread is for Mountain Lion. Sorry :\

Do you have both HD3000 & GTX 460 working simultaneously?

With GraphicsEnabler=No, I can boot and use GT640 but HD3000 has kext loading issues.

If set to Yes, then KPs during boot.

I'll write a quick guide on how to do it. Give me a day or two ;)
