Price landed at overall 11kSEK which is 1.66k$ however prices are expensive here in Sweden compared to US. I wanted a decent rig to run mac on and also play games. I also use this rig to make music and code apps for Android and iOS. I ended up being able to play Starcraft 2 with ultra settings at ~60fps. If there is one thing I would change it would be my motherboard due to the hassle of getting audio working. In order to get sound working I installed this kext http://www.osx86.net/files/file/902-via-vt2021-voodoohda-2-7-x-2-8-osx-10-7-x-10-8-x/USB 3.0 didn't work outside of the box and I haven't attempted to install it. Otherwise this tutorial was all I needed to use: http://www.tonymacx86.com/61-unibeast-install-os-x-mountain-lion-any-supported-intel-based-pc.html.
The reason I went for the Intel i5 3470 instead of the Intel i5 3570K is because the difference is minimal and I will not overclock.
The mouse and keyboard work well, connected without any problem.
For me the monitor contrast was too low so what I did was I went to System Preferences -> Accessibility -> Display and increased the contrast by 4/5 of a bar.
