CPU: Intel 4790s

Memory: Corsair Vengeance 1600Mhz 16gb
Hard Drive: Samsung SSD 250GB and 5tb HD
DVD: Liteon DVDRW
Case: Thermaltake Snow with silent case fans
PSU: Corsair 750watt

This system is extremely fast, absolutely silent and very cool. Did not have one bit of trouble out of it. Only issue I had was the Asus GTX 750 I tried to use first. Mavericks does not support the newer Maxwell architecture. I still need to get a wifi card or usb wifi. I want AC wifi support but that's limited right now with Mavericks.

1. Make a Unibeast USB drive with Mavericks 10.9.5
I'm using the newest version of Unibeast and Multibeast

2. Bios setup

  • Updated the BIOS version to F5. Mavericks would not install with the preloaded F3.

  • Load Optimized Defaults
  • Peripherals>xHCI Mode>Auto
  • Peripherals>xHCI Hand-off>ENABLED
  • Peripherals>EHCI Hand-off>ENABLED
  • Peripherals>Internal Graphics>DISABLED
  • Power Management>Wake on Lan>DISABLED
  • BIOS Features>VT-d>DISABLED
  • BIOS Features>Boot Mode Selection>Legacy
  • Save and Exit

3.Install
When PC reset itself, press F12 and choose boot from USB drive.
Press ENTER with -x -v

Install Mavericks after partitioning drive, and restart with spacebar then enter the -x -v flags

Start Multibeast,
MultiBeast Configuration

Hello! :)
Nice build !
:headbang:

I saw that you installed Mac OS X Mavericks. I wonder if you had any problems with the installation process? So was it a straight forward install, just follow the guides and so on? Anything that a noob should consider?

I am beginner of hackintosh and currently I can´t get hold of z87-series in Sweden
, that had a more "easy" installation.

Here is currently my first planned build for hackintosh:
I have looked through many motherboards, it seems that I should focus my attention too them.
And z97 series motherboard are those i am interested of.
I have planned to buy one of the these three motherboards:
GIGABYTE GA-Z97X-GAMING 3; ASUS Z97-A; GIGABYTE GA-H97M-D3H.

Did you have any problems in your setup with your motherboard,
GIGABYTE GA-Z97X-GAMING 3?

My current setup:

  • [*=left]MOTHERBOARD: Gigabyte GA-Z97X-GAMING 3

Please feel free to give a some advices to my build ?
Regards! :beachball:

Sorry for my probably stupid question but how do you upload the bios version to f5?

Sorry for my probably stupid question but how do you upload the bios version to f5?

It's explained in your motherboard manual and on the Gigabyte website.

Basically you format a USB flash drive as FAT.
Download the new BIOS.
Copy the new BIOS to the USB flash drive.
Power on your computer and press Delete to enter the setup screen.

Press the appropriate function key to enter the BIOS flash routine

Thank you very much!

Hi buddy!: Волна: Can you give me the sound of kext (ga-z97x-gaming 3)? AppleHDA and HDAEnabler. No opportunity to put across MultiBeast. Clover use as the boot
