The machine is being used mainly for photo/video editing of Raw footage. So the target is to match base Mac Pro. I already have an old ASUS case/500W power supply which I can't even find the name of them...
Installation
For installation I mainly followed jbarnette's Build with a little tweaks:
1. Mojave won't install and stuck at "About 13 minutes remaining"
Solution: According to @CaseySJ and @poles, instructions are here:

[Solved] Z390-H 9900k vega 64 970evo freeze on last 2 mins
Just to be sure, let me ask: After you manually reboot and continue the installation from SSD, do you select the “pre-install” disk instead of the actual Mojave disk?

2. I use NoVPAjpeg.kext to solve preview crash issues.
3. USB SSDT:
Follow @RehabMan's thread: for Z390 M Gaming, 6 USB2/3/C ports on MB, which are HS01-06, SS01-06; Bluetooth is HS10; another USB header is used for my old case which has two USB2 in front, HS11 and HS12. Total of 15 ports. SSDT_USB.aml is attached for reference.
What works:
Everything as far as I've tested.
What doesn't work:
Can't seem to overclock in BIOS: no * seen in BIOS section. I thought Z390 support overclock. I only use 8pin 12V, not 4pin 12V due to the fact that power cables are super tight.
Thank you everyone on the forum.
