Installation

First I tried to install MacOS Sierra, but I wasn't able to get the installation started. When I preparing my new bootable USB Stick with the latest UniBeast and High Sierra, the installation was no longer a problem.

Follow this Guide:

https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...ierra-on-any-supported-intel-based-pc.235474/

Step 3: Recommended BIOS settings

Before start installing we should modify our BIOS settings to have a successful installation.

BIOS TAB

BIOS Features > Windows 8/10 Features > Other OS

BIOS Features > Storage Boot Option Control > UEFI Only

BIOS Features > Boot Option #1 > UEFI USB Drive

Peripherals TAB

Initial Display Output > PCIe 1 Slot

Peripherals > XHCI Hand-off > Enable

Network Stack > Disabled

Chipset TAB

VTd > Disabled

Internal Graphics > Disabled

Step 5: Post installation with MultiBeast

So, after the installation (Step 4) we have to run MultiBeast

We choose UEFI Boot Mode at quick start.

In the Drivers tab for the audio we must choose ALC1220 and 100 / 200 series audio.

In Network tab we choose IntelMausiethernet v2.3.0

In USB tab, I choose increase max port limit 200 series.

In Customize tab for the graphics choose NVIDIA WEB drivers boot flag

In System Definition for the i7 8700K we must choose iMac 18.3

we hit build and restart

Audio didn't work until I tried this guide
just search in google for:
get-hackintosh-audio-working alc1220

Summary:

Mac is running smoothly even USB 3.1 is working

Hi, does you motherboard shuts down properly or does the leds stay on? Can you share your config.plist?

Thanks

Have you encountered any sort of Wake issues from Sleep? Everything works for me with my Gigabyte Z370 build besides that. My CPU fans, as well as my case fans, all begin to run at relatively high speeds after waking from sleep. Then my iStat and HWmonitor both show no fans or a status of "0". Have been digging through threads but really haven't found a solution.

Hi there,

Do you have your EFI Folder I could use? basically running the same rig, just have an i5 8600k, 960 pros and a GTX 1080.

Thanks!

Dan

Also I can't seem to find the following options in my BIOS:

'BIOS Features > Windows 8/10 Features > Other OS'
'Peripherals > XHCI Hand-off > Enable'

Any ideas where these are located?

Found all the BIOS settings, Can't seem to install Nvidia web drivers due to not being compatible, did you have this issue?

Where was the OS option?? Have same board with Bios version F4 but cannot find that one...

Thanks

I don't think there actually is one so I just ignored it. Install worked fine for me

Ok Web drivers all going, got imessage going too. marsiate what did you do to sort sleep/wake/power management and Audio? Any chance you could post link for the audio website you are talking about?

...
Hey Marsiate nice job! I am running an almost identical machine as you, although I am having a problem with Multibeast... I chose same exact MultiBeast Build and Install... it mounts the EFI and then moves on to audio (ALC1220) and immediately crashes or fails.

Also not sure where to find the log it suggest...

Any help would be awesome this is my first Hack.

Thanks
