After a few months using this, I am still having problems starting up the system.
The issue is: I use an Apple wired keyboard and sometimes the system just won't power up the keyboard. Before the OS loads, the keyboard works, after that it just has no power. I used mostly the front panel USB (annoyng) and one day even that stopped working. I removed all other devices (hdd's) USB's from their slots and now I am using it with a rear USB2.0, as it seems to be working like that.

I too have problems with sleep/wake. Sometimes, after the wake, the sound stops working. Sometimes it won't wake at all so I need to press the power button.

The issue with iMessage was solved by using tutorials around (nvram problem) AND adding a creditcard to the itunes account. Without a CC any method failed.

Other than that, the system works fine and is very stable.

Anyone have an answer to this audio problem after sleep? What multi and bios settings are you guys using?

How do you Disable UEFI? I cannot find this, and it won't let me install windows.

2. Restart and in BIOS Settings disable UEFI and set boot mode to Legacy which forces for non EFI installation.

Hi

I have almost exactly this hardware, except for the kingston memory, which is 1333Mhz, and I'm using a wireless card whose profile the System Info app says is Atheros AR9285 (device id 002b).

Still I don't manage to get sound nor network on it. I'm really not sure what to choose in Multibeast, but I've looked it up everywhere, tried a number of options and had no luck. Could you please help me out with this? Where do I find the KEXTs for it or am I supposed to get along with what's in Multibeast only? In this case, how do I know which options to choose?

Thanks a lot.
I'm almost giving up this entire Hackintosh...

"Sometimes, after the wake, the sound stops working."

Solution - use audio driver from
MultiBeast - Mavericks 6.1.0
Go to Audio -> Realtek ALCxxx -> Without DSDT -> ALC887/888b Current v100302

It's work for me. Also works in Z77-DS3H rev.1.1

Tested on Yosemite.

So this setup works fine on Yosemite?

Hi nikoskard. Have you updated your system to win10 / El capitan?

This was the guide I used on my system and I need to update.

Any suggestions of anupdated guide to follow?

Thanks
