Components:
Gigabyte Z170X-UD3 Motherboard
Intel Core i5-6600K Quad-Core Processor
ASUS GTX 1070 8GB
  1. Configure BIOS (F22):
    1. 1st: Load Optimized Defaults
    2. 2nd: Setup necessary flags to boot:
      1. M.I.T. > XMP = Profile1
      2. BIOS > Win9/10 = Other OS
      3. Peripherals > Super IO > Serial Port = Disabled
      4. Peripherals > USB > XHCI Hand-off = Enabled
      5. Chipset > Internal Graphics = Disabled (it works but it is quite buggy, so, better disable it)
  2. Install using Sierra 10.12.2 using UniBeast 7.1.1
  3. Run MultiBeast 9.1.0:
    1. 1st: Install options:
      1. Quick Start > UEFI Boot Mode *
      2. Drivers > Audio > Realtek ALCxxx > ALC1150
      3. Drivers > Audio > Realtek ALCxxx > 100 / 200 Series Audio
      4. Drivers > Misc > FakeSMC *(auto selected by the Quick Start)
      5. Drivers > Misc > FakeSMC Plugins
      6. Drivers > Misc > FakeSMC HWMonitor
      7. Drivers > Network > Intel > IntelMausiEthernet v2.2.0
      8. Bootloaders > Clover UEFI Boot Mode + Emulated NVRAM
      9. Customize > System Definitions > iMac > iMac 14,2 *(auto selected by the Quick Start)
    2. 2nd: Remove buggy FakeSMC plugin for GPU with the following Terminal commands:
      1. (remove plugin): $ sudo rm -Rf /Library/Extensions/FakeSMC_GPUSensors.kext
      2. (clear cache): $ sudo rm -Rf /System/Library/Caches/*
      3. Restart...
  4. Run Clover Configurator 4.42.0:
    1. 1st: Mount EFI
    2. 2nd: Open config.plist on "/EFI/EFI/CLOVER" and save those configs
      1. Acpi > FixLAN_2000
      2. Acpi > FixShutdown_0004
      3. - Devices > Audio > Inject (3)
      4. - System Parameters > Inject Kexts (Yes)
      5. - System Parameters > Inject System ID (X)
      6. - System Parameters > NvidiaWeb (X)
    3. 3rd: Update Clover and install:
      1. - Drivers64UEFI > EmuVariableUefi-64 (X)
  5. Update to macOS Sierra 10.12.6
  6. Clover boot options
    1. Uncheck Nvidia Flags
    2. Install Nvidia WebDriver-378.05.05.05f01 and restart the machine
  7. Install Nvidia CUDA-8.0.61 and update cuda on System Preferences
  8. Enable TRIM:
    1. $ sudo trimforce enable
  9. Enjoy.
Notes:
  • If your load screen is stuck, enter -v in the clover boot options. Seems to always work.
  • I have tried to get this hackintosh to work at least 6 times of doing tutorials and all have failed after installing nvidia drivers. But this one works perfectly. At this attempt I feel as if I am finally understanding how this all works, which is a good feeling. If you do this, you should document each step that you take inorder to isolate things that do and don’t work. It is through this process that has led me to a higher understanding of the functions. Plus once you publish your successful install, it helps the communicty.
  • I use an audio interface for audio through USB
Update 1 week later:
  • I removed a USB device, booted up pc into Sierra and the last lines before shutting down show:
    • AppleUSBAdioControlInterface.cpp at line 357
    • AppleUSBAdioDevice.cpp at line 1387,538,280,1253,537,280
  • I can’t seem to figure out how to resolve this.

I have the same mobo and I resorted to using only windows because of the random restarts. I've installed several times, followed successful guides but no dice. Seems stable then i get random restarts out of the blue.
