Hello everybody..!! I wasn't so lucky with Snow Leopard with my specs, due to my GTS 450 issues. But now with Lion everything works great.

I had several failures with Lion when I used MutliBeast and DSDT, then I've discovered the best way to get it done.

1-Once you are done with xMove + MultiBeast and booted to Lion (if it's a fresh installation), run Multibeast and apply EasyBeast Install along with System Utilities and reboot to Lion again (Yes, I'm not kidding) .
2- Now apply your DSDT with System Utilities (ONLY) and reboot.
3- Now install your Audio, Network and USB 3.0 individually (ALC8xxHDA+AppleHDA RollBack) + (Realtek Gigabit Ethernet 2.0.6) + (USB 3.0 - NEC/Renesas) every time with System Utilities.

That's all, and now I'm running my Lion for days without a single freeze or kernel panic with full support for my GTS 450.
The only thing that didn't work with me so far is (Sleep). and I think I should do my effort to get it work properly.

My next move is Overclocking my CPU and RAM to meet my old settings with CPU 3.8GHz and RAM 1890Hz.

Regards,

Hi there.

Almost the same config, but after applying custom DSDT Lion no longer boots - kernel panic. I am using 10.7.0 installer.

Regards,

Catalin

How are you installing Lion?

Unibeast.

After Install, boot from USB and select Lion Install, system boots fine, everything works except sound.

I followed your procedure, installed easybeast and reboot. After that system boots fine (no kernel panic) but resolution is 1024x728, network no longer works of course. Anyway, this time I applied custom DSDT. Choosing to reboot is getting a kernel panic, reset from the button , boot from hard drive gets kernel panic again.

I think I might have to remove some components from the system. (another SSD drive, 1 TB sata 7200rpm samsung, etc). Bios is ver FD. Lion is on a drive with a second NTFS partition. I am trying now using lion 10.7.2.

Many thanks.

There's a GA-GA-X58A-UD5 DSDT in the DSDT Database. I recommend you use it as it will decrease the chance of problems with OS X.

If got the same problem as yanaki. Installed Lion and it works with easybeast but the resolution is still 1024. After the DSDT install Kernel Panic.... Please can anyone tell me what to do?

yanakis do you allready have a solution?

Hi, i have a doubt, a gts 450 EVGA will work in Lion? there is a problem only because it is evga?
