[SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

Still under warranty. I just got my new Patriot Viper DDR4 RAM in the mail and installed it. That problem is solved!
Glad to hear it!

However, now my front USB ports (which I use very frequently) don't work. I first noticed this after I'd removed the bad RAM and hoped the problem would go away with the new RAM, but no such luck. I tried reinstalling OpenCore 0.8.3 using Hackindrom, but it didn't help. I read this and stared at Hackintool some, but didn't make any moves. Please continue to guide me.
What is the make/model of your computer’s case? We may need to adjust the USB port map accordingly.

Also please post a screenshot of OpenCore Configurator —> ACPI section.

Hello, I have had problems with my hack for the last couple of months. I get this message on the boot and no wifi.

Thanks in advance,
J

For the "Load Early" warnings, simply run OpenCore Configurator and open the UEFI --> Drivers section. Then uncheck the "Load Early" flags and save config.plist.

Case: Corsair 550D CC-9011015-WW
This case has 2 USB 3.1 ports that are controlled by:
  • HS05 -- USB 2.0
  • HS06 -- USB 2.0
  • SS05 -- USB 3.x
  • SS06 -- USB 3.x
All 4 of these ports are defined and enabled in the USB SSDT that is already enabled in your screenshot (SSDT-UIAC-DESIGNARE-Z390-V7.aml). Please check if USBInjectAll.kext is enabled in the Kernel section of OpenCore Configurator. Both the SSDT and kext need to be enabled.

I'd really like to upgrade to a new Alder Lake/Raptor Lake system if there's a compelling golden build by @CaseySJ, with widespread community adoption, but I'm hesitant because the support in this thread is just too good. 3657 thread pages and counting, wow.

Heh yeah thanks, I've seen it. I'll definitely jump if there's a new build with a 13700/13900K with a budget-ish Z790 motherboard.

I looked inside the box one more time to make sure everything is plugged in, and when I pulled out the bad ram, I forgot to reinsert a plug. MY fault! Sorry to waste your time on that one; it's all back in working order. Many thanks for your patient guidance!
