[SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

After a cold boot, it still just keeps spinning and spinning. I'll try clearing the NVRAM and edit this reply.

Update: Cold boot and clearing NVRAM made no difference. Still stuck in the "On" position. Upon further review and refusing to give up, Shift+Option<Bluetooth Preferences yields a new option: Spoiler: Leave unlocked to allow switching on/off the Bluetooth service.
@jiffyslot @Hackintoshron

Please see post directly above. We should try the pre-release BlueToolFixup kext in that post.

Note however that it may or may not make a difference with BCM94360 module, but worth trying anyway.

Just updated my OC version to 0.7.4 and SMBIOS to Imac 7,1 for Monterrey. Everything is working fine so far except my USB drives and devices are no longer visible. I'm presently using the provided USB SSDTs from this thread, any ideas on why its not visible?
Are you sure you’re using iMac7,1?

I'm using the Fenvi.
I thought CpuTscSync.kext was disabled by default on OpenCore 0.7.4.
I checked mine, and it's disabled.
Please post output of pmset -g assertions.

There are a lot of USB devices/hubs connected. Fortunately sleep works when manually invoked. For auto-sleep, some suggestions:
  • System Preferences --> Energy Saver --> Wake for Network Access --> Unchecked
  • Disconnect all USB devices and hubs except USB keyboard and mouse.
    • Check auto-sleep.
    • Does it work?

Wake for Network was already off. I've reduced the devices to the below

Anyone know what the current state of the Samsung 970 EVO Plus is?
I have macOS running on one (bought before I saw the warning :/)
It is running the newest firmware, and macOS installed on it just fine, but the boot time is kinda long (I guess its doing TRIM stuff?), and since Monterey was installed the boot time is even longer.

Anything I can do about that outside of chucking the 970 Pro?

Some questions and comments:
  • How much free space is left on the 970 EVO Plus?
  • How long is the boot time from OpenCore Picker --> to --> macOS Login Screen appearing?
  • Is the boot time always this long, or does it vary significantly from boot to boot?
  • I would suggest waiting a couple of days to see if the problem corrects itself.
