[SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

If you disable CpuTscSync without making any other changes, does your system sleep and wake properly?

Yes, disabling CpuTscSync makes wake from sleep go back to normal

In OpenCore 0.7.3 I added a new kext called CpuTscSync just for you. :) According to its documentation, it should solve some kernel panics after wake. There are no guarantees this will fix every such panic, but it’s worth trying.

That Kext seems to have resolved the issues that I was having! I have not had any of the restarting issue after putting the machine to sleep.

Hi @CaseySJ
My MSI-B460m-MORTAR was installed with Thunderbolt 3 AIC and plugged into a USB device, which caused the system to crash. I tried ASUS Thunderbolt 3 and MSI Thunderbolt M3 AIC in Alpine Ridge. But under Windows there was no problem, the Thunderbolt device was not tried, and the system froze within seconds of the USB device being inserted, both with and without the Thunderbolt bus being activated.

Electricity issue here because of thunderstorms
no HackinDROM server until tomorrow 9AM (Europe Time)
sorry!

Hello @cessoniq,

To connect an Antelope Audio interface it is necessary to enable VT-d, which can be done as explained here:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...olt-3-i7-9700k-amd-rx-580.267551/post-2262129
  • If you have 16GB or less then it's only necessary to follow the first 3 bullets in the above post.
  • If you have more than 16GB memory then please run MaciASL and select File --> New from ACPI --> DMAR and save the file in .aml format. Then post the file.

@CaseySJ
i have 64gb ram

Glad to hear it! By the way, with VT-d enabled, do you have any problems connecting to WiFi and Ethernet?

WiFi is working, but Ethernet is not. :( (But I didn't check it before VTt-d.) It is really make working?
I have another problem my audio card nott working after restart
I need to reconnect Thunderbolt cable, reconnect power supply and restart my computer. After that - it is OK.

  • To fix Ethernet, please follow bullets 4, 5, and 6 of the same post, but use the attached SSDT-DMAR.aml.
  • Regarding Antelope re-connection problem, please see Posts 18 and 19 here:
