[SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

...

I may not recall correctly, but when I first built this hack I think if I put the DIMMs in A1 and B1 the BIOS wouldn't show the proper 3200 MHz frequency.
...
Good memory. I just moved the 16GB DIMMs into A1 and B1 on the Z490 Vision D. Result: POST failure.

@CaseySJ

have you tried with just a single 16Gb module?
All-
I have VT-D enabled, unchecked DisableIOMapper and removed dart=0
I have removed all DIMM's except for one 16Gb module in A1 slot of my board.

I now have 3 working network connections!
Fenvi T919, Built-in (I219), and Apple Thunderbolt2 to Gigabit adapter!!

I'm running stock firmware for my board F11m and patched NVM33 on GC-Titan Ridge.
4K UltraFine TB3 monitor working fine. (3 Monitor Setup)

The downside- only 16gb of memory!

Well that turned out to be a good idea!

I know 32GB single DIMMs are available! Ouch. That would mean single channel.

Here’s another thought:
  • 16GB DIMM in A1
  • 16GB DIMM in A2
Will it work? :)

LOL, I've been at my daughters' swim meet tonight and between each heat, I would refresh to see what was happening. Truly the best hackintosh thread ever!
110% agree!

Using A1 and A2 getting this:

Does anyone see the cancel button? Is there a key to press? Hitting esc key shutdown, ok click shutdown, return key shutsdown, clicking the "x" shutdown. Can't get into setup either.

Press Cancel to stop showing message box!

Try a cold boot ?

In my experience, sleep has broken everytime I've tried to use SBUS-MCHC.aml.
On my Z490 Vision D with SSDT-SBUS-MCHC.aml, sleep does work.
