Thank you for your reply
@CaseySJ.
I did as you wrote (just added Rehabman’s VoodooPS2Controller.kext for my “no-usb” keyboard).
At first boot after changing CLOVER folder to yours, on the Clover screen there was no “Boot macOS Install from Mojave” option on my SSD so I choosed “Boot macOS Install Prebooter from Preboot “. The result was exact the same as before (like on my photo with “error: loading kernel cache (0xe), error: aborted returned from boot.efi was error, press any key”). So I pressed a key and after few seconds was on the BIOS boot menu, where I choosed my USB. This time Clover boot menu showed not 5 but 6 options
with Boot macOS Install from Mojave on my SSD! I choosed this of course and installation started. (Black screen with white Apple logo and progress bar with info that is about 40 minutes to complete).
The progress bar and info about time were going much faster as it claimed and after couple of minutes installation has rebooted. Than F12, USB choice and… Clover screen without option Boot macOS Install from Mojave on my SSD… Choosing “Boot macOS Install Prebooter from Preboot” resulted the same as at the beginning of this chapter of my story…
The only difference that I noticed was in the “final” error info. I mean:
Before Clover folder
change to yours, the sequence:
1. F12
2. USB choice
3. Clover (no "Boot macOS Install from Mojave” option on SSD)
4. "Boot macOS Install Prebooter from Preboot" choice
5. error: loading kernel cache (0xe), error: aborted returned from boot.efi was error, press any key
6. Bios menu
7. F12
ended with the the error message as on
pic nr 2.
After change to your Clover folder, this sequence ended with info as on
pic nr 3.
Today I will try “the USB disk -> Boot Install macOS from macOS Install” method. Could it give different result than taking me to the main install Mojave screen (with disk utility, recovery, Mojave install options) ?
