Ok, I post my reply with my phone because I have no more ethernet/wifi with vtd enabled. Finally, my orion32+ works on z390 F9i original firmware, with vtd enabled.
Are you running Catalina or Big Sur?

@3908700 has just switched to OpenCore on Mojave, but is struggling to connect his Orion 32+ with AppleVTD enabled. Even UAD fails to connect with AppleVTD.

Even After following all the guide still unable to upgrade the boot loader to Opencore 7.0 and even the OpenCore Configurator also showing the error message that you are using the older version of boot loader. I don't know why its stuck on Opencore 0.6.8 Version tried to update it to Opencore 0.6.9 Still the same no luck with that also
Are you booting from the correct SSD? Please check Boot Priority order in Boot section of BIOS Setup. You can also press F12 at Gigabyte Splash Screen to open the BIOS Boot Menu.

@yosoyoco @CODYQX4 @NCMacGuy @gandem,

If you have a Fenvi or similar WiFi/BT PCIe add-in-card, please try this experiment (if you like):
  • Physically remove the PCIe WiFi/BT card.
  • Keep all memory modules installed.
  • Keep VT-d enabled (ensure AppleVTD appears in IOReg).
Now check if Thunderbolt and Ethernet ports are working.

When removing the Fenvi (and reinstalling it) always shutdown system and flip power switch on PSU to off.

@yosoyoco @CODYQX4 @NCMacGuy @gandem,

If you have a Fenvi or similar WiFi/BT PCIe add-in-card, please try physically removing that card. Although you will lose WiFi and Bluetooth, please check if Ethernet ports work with all of your memory modules installed (and AppleVTD enabled).

When removing the Fenvi (and reinstalling it) always shutdown system and flip power switch on PSU to off.
I'll give this a try now. Here's a note on behavior- Once I went down to 1 DIMM, the message in POST about the Broadcom device in PCIe slot went away.

@yosoyoco,

He fixed the problem by reinstalling the Antelope driver.

Here is evidence from @3908700 showing that two 16GB DIMMs are installed, AppleVTD is enabled, Antelope Orion 32+ is working, and his on-board Ethernet ports are working.

The only difference: He has no WiFi/BT card. He's using a Bluetooth USB dongle at the moment (which is having a connection problem).

Antelope Audio Orion Stuido SC TB3 and Orion32+ Gen3 with Apple adapter TB3 to TB work correctly!

In the first post

The sub sections here are split between F4-F7 and F8+.

In only the F4-F7 section, it has

But it is not mentioned in the F8+ section.

I'm interested in turning that on for windows to maybe have a TPM (I'm not sure if the intel PTT is the same as a tpm or not, but maybe?).

If I'm on F8+ is it okay to turnt this on?
Yes it is okay to enable PTT based on an earlier post by @dehjomz here.

Also, would it ever be possible for to use this intel ptt to emulate an apple secure enclave?
Maybe @dehjomz can address this?
