** OpenCore 0.7.0 EFI for Z390 Designare **
Supports Mojave, Catalina and Big Sur
Please do not quote this post in its entirely. Use a link instead.

Update to OpenCore 0.7.0 using HackinDROM App
Available for both Broadcom WiFi/BT and OpenIntelWireless WiFi/BT

If making manual changes to OpenCore config.plist, please ensure that OpenCore Configurator is set to either 0.7.0 Development Version or 0.7.0 Release Version

This update includes:

1. OpenCore 0.7.0
2. VirtualSMC 1.2.4
3. NVMeFix 1.0.8
4. AppleALC 1.6.1
5. BrightnessKeys 1.0.2
6. RestrictEvents 1.0.2 (added, but not enabled; this is for MacPro7,1 users)
7. New HfsPlus.efi

Changes to config.plist:
  • Misc --> Boot --> LauncherOption has been Disabled. If you have a multi-boot system you may wish to turn this back on (previous setting was Full).
  • EnableVectorAcceleration has been enabled. This is the recommended setting according to OpenCore developers.

If using OpenCore Configurator, please ensure it is set to 0.7.0 Development Version or 0.7.0 Release Version.

For manual update purposes, the ZIP files are attached below.
  • File on left is for Broadcom WiFi/BT (4.5 MB).
  • File on right is for Intel WiFi/BT (51 MB).

** Supplemental Note for OpenCore 0.7.0 Users **

You may optionally enable AllowToggleSIP, which is a new feature in OpenCore 0.7.0. Using the latest OpenCore Configurator, open your config.plist and enable the Misc --> Security --> AllowToggleSIP checkbox as shown:

Now you will see these options when you press spacebar at the OpenCanopy Picker:

It is recommended to keep SIP Enabled unless something does not work. If you disable SIP using this feature, OpenCore will set SIP flags to 0x026F, which should allow unsigned kexts to load and macOS updates to take place.

Another AWESOME update from @CaseySJ and @Inqnuam. 30 seconds to update my test bootable USB. Everything worked perfectly, so after another 30 seconds my boot EFI was updated. Rebooted, reset the NVRAM, and was right back into Big Sur! Now I'm just waiting for better RX6900XT drivers in the coming Big Sur builds.

Apologies for the late reply. Are you still facing this issue?
Not that issue, now I have another issue lol! Oh man I'm going crazy.

I have two drives. One back up clone named "Clone", and my main NVMe drive "macOS"

So I updated macOS OC 0.7.0, then was able to install Big Sur 11.4.
However, the system freezes after 10 minutes of use.

I tried booting from my backup Clone running OC 0.6.7, and then booting into macOS, and same issue happens.

If I boot from either EFI, I can use Clone normally running 11.2.3

Aah finally :headbang: Instead of being jealous all the time on RX 6800 XT owners, I managed to get my own for a "decent" price (I deemed the seller crazy for selling it for EUR 1000 (new without the box being opened) these days while I could only find ones for +1500).

Anyhow, I'm happy, now I need to install it. I remember it here being discussed on how to configure it. Any advice for OC settings? Or are these the same settings for my current RX570?

Congratulations! Although mine is still shrink wrapped (evil me), it should only be necessary to add “agdpmod=pikera”.
