Some questions:@CaseySJ Do you know of any issues with enabling CSM support? I cannot boot with it on, but I think it will help me with my display issues (sometimes one screen will stay off when the displays sleep - right now the computer itself is set to never go to sleep, but the issue is the same when that is enabled). Here is a picture of the opencore boot log:
Both displays are connected via displayport to the rtx 580.
1.0.6 working great for me.I'm still on F9j.
What if I go back to F9i?
Will flashing firmware resets CMOS automatically?
Please try build 1.0.6.
New EFI partitions will automatically appear in the window.
Leave the window open and plug a storage with EFI Partition
Mount/Unmount too (ex: if you unmount from EFI Agent/OCC..)
Hope this version solves Windows EFI's issue
Thanks for the feedback1.0.6 working great for me.
Nice feature for identifying the respective EFI.
Thanks.
Not yet.Thanks for the feedback
Do you have Windows or Linux beside your macOS ?
In previous versions the presence of Windows and/or Linux EFI partitions crashed the appNot yet.
I have win10 SSD but it is not yet plugged in.
I used to dual boot when I was running Clover and Mojave but since I moved to OC, I haven't plugged it back.
Do you have any advice ? And do you need feedback after the installation ?
Sorry about that! I am on macOS 11.2, OpenCore 6.6.0, BIOS firmware F9i (also occurs on F9g). What happens at boot without verbose mode enabled is that it hangs on the Apple logo. Turning on verbose mode shows me the output I provided, but I'm not getting anywhere trying to decipher it through searching different terms. Some questions:
- Which version of macOS are you running?
- Which version of BIOS is installed?
- What exactly happens when CSM Support is enabled? "I cannot boot with it on" is, unfortunately, not descriptive enough!
Is CFG-Lock disabled in BOOT section of BIOS Setup? In F9i we must disable it ourselves.Sorry about that! I am on macOS 11.2, OpenCore 6.6.0, BIOS firmware F9i (also occurs on F9g).
