I have had zero issues with my FV-T919 from day one.

@Bobby22

My T919 is also working perfectly with an Apple Magic Mouse 2 and Magic Keyboard. I had a slight issue with Handoff, but after unscrewing and screwing back in all 4 Antennas, it works perfectly, so maybe try doing that

@CaseySJ,
Was there any significant difference in the GC-Titan Ridge V2 firmware versus V1? Just curious. I'm just wondering if there is any real difference between V1 and V2.

My V1 shipped with NVM43, but V2 ships with NVM50. Do you think NVM50 is performing better than previous versions?

Hi @CaseySJ,

I've got an update. With Darkwake=0 set as a boot argument within Clover, and with WiFi on, the Hackintosh wakes a lot less frequently at around every 3 to 4 hours (before, without Darkwake = 0, it was exactly every hour). However, as my logs show, instead of it being a Darkwake from Normal Sleep, it is now a Wake from Normal sleep. The reason is the same, they both had the reason as /Network using AC. So from my understanding, with Darkwake=0, the PC actually fully wakes up now due to the same /Network reason code, rather than a Darkwake.

However, where it gets interesting is the entry directly below the Wake either says 2020-07-13 07:29:32 +0100 WakeDetails DriverReason:PXSX - DriverDetails: DriverReason:WiFi.ScanOffload when Darkwake=0 IS active, OR, DriverReason:WiFi.ScanOffload-Previous authentication no longer valid when Darkwake=0 WASN'T active. From Googling around, I can't really figure out what these both are. Any ideas?

I've uploaded my log file below (please note that the Darkwake=0 change went in from midnight on 13th July, and I left the PC sleeping all night). Do you mind taking a look at the log? And should I be trying the remaining fixes from the Sleep Aid, such as the TCPKeepAlive=0, as when using sudo pmset -g log | grep Maintenance, I can see a few references to mDNS responder, and TCPkeepalive (I've attached the log output for the above Maintenance command too)

Thank you!
Disabling darkwake seems like a step in the wrong direction -- now the monitor wakes up as well, which we don't want in the middle of the night.

The reason I created the Sleep Aid was to encourage people to troubleshoot their systems using the various suggestions listed there. It is difficult to suggest any specific course of action. The information in the log is not always helpful and often too cryptic.

So please keep trying various suggestions in the Sleep Aid. If nothing seems to work, try a fresh installation on a spare disk for testing purposes.

And if truly nothing works over long periods of sleep time, just turn off the machine when you go to sleep. That is the most environmentally friendly solution anyway...

Thanks Casey. I'm going to try different combinations of the SleepAid. I've just done the TCPKeepAlive=0 command, and will leave it sleeping overnight. If that works. I will then set Darkwake back to it's normal setting (do you mind me asking what that is btw?) to see if just the TCPKeepAlive=0 helps solve it, and if it doesn't, I'll put Darkwake back to 0.

Of course, once I'm done, I'll post a small report on my findings in the hope that it helps others too!

Thanks!

Hi Casey, When I plug in my USB I don't see the EFI partition anymore. I only see it when I originally create the bootable USB on the initial setup. Attached is the screenshot of what I see currently. Sorry I'm a No0b:silent:

Should I create a new bootable disk USB?
Thanks for your help!
The EFI partition has to be manually mounted. We can do that from Clover Configurator itself as shown. Under Efi Partitions you will see all available EFI partition. Hopefully there will be only one entry, but if you see multiple entries, be sure to select the one corresponding to the USB flash disk. The Media Name can used to identify the right disk.

Sure. Please have a look at Posts 8 and 10 for an explanation of DarkWake flags (post #8) and sample usage (post #10):
Also have a look at this explanation of WiFi.ScanOffload. This is excerpted from Catalina 10.15.3 source code (open source) located here.

Hello @Bobby22

I understand your concern, but nearly every product has problems. If you look at Amazon reviews for almost anything, you will find some complaints.

I have 6 of the Fenvi FV-T919s and not a single one of them has ever caused any problem. So my track record with the Fenvi is a perfect 6 for 6 on the following boards:
  • Gigabyte Designare Z390 #1
  • Gigabyte Designare Z390 #2
  • Gigabyte Z490 Vision D #3
  • Asus X99 Deluxe II #4
  • ASRock Creator #5
  • ASRock Taichi #6
How can I tell people not to buy this card?

We should, however, make sure that the product is sold by Fenvi because there can be some counterfeit cards. Here's what I mean:

In your case I would suggest:
  • Returning the Fenvi
  • Trying a different brand -- just search your favorite online retailer for either BCM94360CS or BCM94360CD
@CaseySJ , @gandem , @juseon123 ,

Thank you all for answering.
My first one was not sold by Fenvi. But the second one and brand new one (the latest one not working) is sold by Fenvi.
Its weird that the Wifi-Card refuse to power-on, but after 4-6H or if you plug/unplug after a POST (while PC is on), it will work for the session (at least until you shut it down).
Any Idea about Modifying ERP ?
Anyway, I've ordered the Fenvi HB1200/1200M and will try it out.
Anything to change into SSDT/pslit with this new card ?

Thank you
