I cannot get it into Verbose mode, everytime I resart machine I get to clover boot menu, whatever I select I end up receiving this message 'Your computer restarted because of a problem. Press a key or wait a few seconds to continue starting up. Then it goes to apple start up screen with about about a quarter of load time remaining. It seems to still be trying to complete the install.

XFX, I need the card in a bit of hurry so it's a special found only at Best Buy. However I can say I am extremely happy with the card. The comparison to the Vega 64s I was running is night and day with regards to noise, and power consumption.

Did you ever consider the Red Devil?? I'm on same boat need to replace my Radeon Vega 64 already replacing my VII that got damage..

If you have a Micro Center nearby, they may still have some RX 590s in stock, I saw a Saffire Pulse and a few Gigabyte Gaming ones last time I was on their site...

Has anyone here got 10.15.5 and iGPU working via DHMI on this board? Everything was fine all the way to and including 10.15.4 :/ Now I get no screen after the initial Apple logo disappears and desktop should show. I wanted to ask here before changing framebuffer and platform ID changes.

Before you upgrade to MacOS 10.15.5 the radeonboost.kext was in your clover/kext/other directory installed?
If so, this kext prevents correct installation. The intallation hangs up. You must start from your install usb-stick without this kext in clover/kext/other. Try it!

That will be why then. When I start from USB install stick, how do I access OSX on the hard disk to change the EFI?

Just select it from the list of options.

Most people do not have any problems updating with that kext loaded.
