I don't see anything on the actual header

But the cable has something similar to the 'triangle': with 'HF' after the 'triangle'

If you look closely at the Thunderbolt header, do you see a chevron next to one of the pins, like this:

Does the owner's manual for ThunderboltEX 3-TR contain a pin diagram showing the signal carried on each pin of the Thunderbolt header?
No pin diagram in the manual.
But even we flash it, if we can't figure out the pin map, it still can't be used as a 'stand-alone' card (regardless of which brand of motherboard we use) with some jumper wire, am I right?
Pin diagrams are in the motherboard manuals.
Compare ROG_MAXIMUS_XII_EXTREME page 1-28 (14 pin header) with ROG_MAXIMUS_XI_EXTREME page 1-24 (5 pin header)
The first 5 pins of the 14 pin header seem to match the 5 pins of the old header.
Then compare with #1,047
Maybe N57787112 is related to S4/S5?

Seems we can try jump the same way we did to other Asus card. The 'standalone' 5 pins in the new 13/14 pinfield
matches the 'old' 5pins.
What did we do with the old Asus 5 pins?
I know GC-AR is to jump 3 and 5, with pin 1 is the one farthest away from the PCIe edge.

Pin diagrams are in the motherboard manuals.

(as I sleep with the Machine in my room, and can hear it wake, even if it's a Darkwake)
I got the same problem when I built my Hackintosh
I don't know how but after switching to OpenCore the problem solved. Im using Casey's OC 0.5.9 folder.
Nothing was changed by Terminal or other way.
My internet is connected by LAN
WiFi is always ON but not connected to any network (Wifi always ON because im using AirDrop and Handoff very often)
Its working perfectly

For now I'm going to leave the machine like this and save any remaining brain-power/patience I have for the Big-Sur installation later this year. I think with the way things are progressing, @CaseySJ may even move to Opencore for the install guide for Big Sur.

Hello again @qmediaservices,

Updating from 10.15.3 to either 10.15.4 or 10.15.5 is more complicated than most updates. We recommend (a) enabling native NVRAM and (b) using a new EFI folder, but copying-and-pasting existing Serial Number, Board Serial Number, and System UUID into the new config.plist.

Sound scary?

It's not so bad. Please see the post below and ask for help should you require it.

Thanks for the info, now the 10.15.6 is out, LOL, any ideas If is should update or wait till the fall for the new macOS 11.0 Big Sur? Thanks

If your system is running fine and you just applied the 10.15.5 update, then the choice to install 10.15.6 is really up to you. Always make a full bootable backup. The update from 10.15.5 to 10.15.6 is quite smooth in most cases, but each time the system reboots during the update process, check that the correct volume is selected in the Clover Boot Menu.

I've always followed this guide for fresh installs since I've had this build. But a recent fresh install using the Catalina 10.15.5 mini guide went fairly well, but I cannot use my 2xBay Hotswappable USB 3.1 SATA Docking station properly. If there is one disc inserted and I try to insert another, it unmounts the currently inserted drive. And the same thing happens when I remove a drive. And when I unmount the drives in OSX, then pull them out, I get a message saying that the drive was not ejected properly. Even if I wait for it to disappear from the finder, stop spinning, and wait 2-3 min....

Quick question- I've kept my monitor via GPU's HDMI. I got a color-accurate monitor so I switched it to the GPU and, just for giggles and grins, I plugged in my main into the MB's HDMI.

Now, I got a black screen and its still black when I go back to the GPU's HDMI. I have no display! lol Haven't done a hard restart yet because I'm in the middle of transferring files but would that fix it? Does the native HDMI on the MB just not work?
