I've reached the installer, but when I try to install Mojave I get a message "Recovery Server Could Not Be Contacted". It seems that the USB installer has no internet connection.

The motherboard is connected to the router with an Ethernet cable and I have this WIFI card installed (Fenvi T919 BCM94360CD)

What is the right procedure? Thank you.

@CaseySJ I must use UHD 630 for a while cause there is a problem with my RX560. I used your UHD 630 config.plist on the Catalina mini-guide but I can't boot. Verbose finished and HDMI signal loss. I have 4K monitor tried -cdfon which this setting already enables on your devices section but it doesn't help. BTW my HDMI cable is a certified 4K support cable HDMI 2.0 and I tried to activate LSPCON this is not helped either.

Normally I always used these settings for my Z390 M but still same no boot; Do you have any idea how can I boot 4K with UHD 630? I attached my CLOVER folder.

        </dict>
The config.plist looks file, although I've changed BusID for Index 1 from 0x06 to 0x02. This is just a technicality and should not affect the HDMI port.

Any reason for these 3 files in ACPI/patched?

Few questions are open:
1) What is this "AppleUsbKbDxe.efi" the came with the Update, which is not to be found in the "Install Drivers" Section of Open Core Configurator. Do I need this for anything I don't know?
This is a USB keyboard driver. It won't do any harm and it's okay to keep it.
2) Shouldn´t I have native NVRAM because of the "Magic" DSDT? I have not.
Did you have native NVRAM before the switch to this build of OpenCore 0.5.4?
3) How can I Force OC to always boot from the same drive after few seconds - like Clover did? Catalina doesn't keep the selection of "Startup Disk" in "System Preferences" (Maybe because of missing NVRAM) So it boots into "something"
In my case, OpenCore is already doing this. When the OC boot menu appears, it automatically selects my Catalina boot disk and begins the boot process. If I press any key, I can interrupt it. Please check the parameters in your OC config.plist with those in the OpenCore Mini-Guide.
4) If I want to rename my System drive, do I have to rename both containers? ( also the "Catalina - Data" one)
Yes we should rename both containers. This is not strictly necessary, but it is necessary for EFIClone script.

When you reach the macOS Installer, run Terminal from the Tools menu and type:

ntpdate -u time.apple.com

Then quit Terminal and begin macOS installation. Does it work?

I think there are few remaining options...

Please try relocating the Fenvi to one of the long slots. We must power down and flip switch on PSU to OFF before relocating the Fenvi.

I have tried also this but still no luck. At this point I have the suspect that it is an hardware problem, and I have also find some logs that seems to confirm the suspect, below one example:

Code:
2020-01-13 21:27:29.265816+0100 0x4c8 Default 0x0 0 0 kernel: (AirPortBrcmNIC) ARPT: 87.367090: wlc_phy_rx_iq_est_acphy: SPINWAIT ERROR : IQ measurement timed out
2020-01-13 21:27:29.265823+0100 0x4c8 Default 0x0 0 0 kernel: (AirPortBrcmNIC) ARPT: 87.367097: wl0: fatal error, reinitializing, total count of reinit's[52], @'wlapi_wlc_fatal_error':701

But still don't understand why in Windows it works.

Anyway I think I will try with a different card: ABWB 802.11AC WI-FI With Bluetooth 4.0 PCI-Express (PCI-E) BCM94360CS2.

I will keep you informed about the results.

Thanks a lot!

hi Folks at times I have to reconnect my monitor to turn it on, any suggestions
  • What is the make/model of the monitor?
  • Are you connecting via HDMI or DisplayPort (no adapters)?
