Note: Bluetooth dongle conflicts with Gigabyte internal Bluetooh in Windows and has to be removed when running Windows. Apple Magic Trackpad 2 had problems with both running in Windows. I may be able to disable internal bluetooth, but haven't looked yet.

Create MSR EFI Flash Drive and Unlock CFG in BIOS

• Update to latest stable BIOS on Gigabyte Z390 Designare (F8 in this case) before unlocking CFG

Update BIOS

1. Change the BIOS settings per CaseySJ's Golden Build > [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

• Use only the BIOS settings from CaseySJ's Golden Build description thread (above)

Create Catalina USB and Install

1. Mini-Guide for Fresh Installation of Catalina 10.15.4 and Newer
2. Choose AMD graphics card config.plist in instructions
3. Download the latest Lilu kext and Whatevergreen kext from Github and replace the ones in the above Mini-Guide. They have critical updates since the above mini-guide. I found I needed them.

Enable Sapphire Nitro+ RX 5700 XT

[Guide] Sapphire Radeon RX 5700 XT Nitro+ with macOS Catalina

• If you did the above Catalina install, you'll already have installed all the drivers mentioned in the Sapphire Guide. Again, make sure you have the latest Lilu and Whatevergreen.
• Change BIOS to enable
  • Internal Graphics from Enabled to Auto
  • Graphics Priority from IGFX to PCI Slot 1
  • Shutdown PC
  • Switch HDMI cable from the internal card to the Sapphire card
  • Startup

Create Windows 10 USB and Install on Second NVMe Drive

1. Make a Windows 10 UEFI USB Installer

Reorder boot in BIOS

1. It was booting Windows first unless I did an F12 on boot.
2. So I had to reorder by boot priority in the BIOS to boot the USB, macOS, then Windows
