[Success] Gigabyte BRIX BRi5-8250-BW on Mojave 10.14.1

Was able to "successfully" install Mojave (10.14.1) and get most things functioning. I referenced @RehabMan and @the_gael 's posts quite a bit:

For installing MacOS/BIOS you can reference those guides. I don't completely understand everything, particularly the ACPI section: they're mostly copied over from the_gael's config.plist...Other than that, everything seems to work well.

• iMessage, iCloud, Photos, Mac App Store, Notes, etc.
• USB 3.0
• Sleep/Wake/Shutdown
• Audio (Front Panel Headphone + Mic)

Issues

• iTunes Movies, certain streaming services on Safari doesn't work (Hulu, Amazon Video, etc) but they work in Chrome
• The screen "stutters" briefly on boot during the Apple logo; not sure what that is, but is fine, otherwise
• iGPU only works when 'Injecting' Intel under Devices. It's fine for me, but from what I gathered it should be left unchecked..
• When waking up from sleep on my 4K60Hz display it would revert to 30Hz over HDMI. I bought an "active" Mini DP to HDMI adapter and I didn't experience that problem when using the Mini DP out, but it should be noted. Not sure what the cause of that is either.

Thank you for the post, it's definitely very enlightening! I was wondering whether you'd managed to solve any of the issues, or maybe you have found some new ones? I'm considering getting the Gigabyte BRIX BRi7-8550, so I'm trying to do some research before I commit. Your input would definitely be very much appreciated!

I got it working, however I had to make a few changes by adding AptioMemoryFix + SSDT-EC.aml. Other than that, everything works great.

Luky fluke, I want a mini Brix, it looks so good, I just brought the GB-BRi7H-8550, do I need to buy a

• Broadcom BCM94352Z card? anything else?, you're clover refi is ready to rock?, o have installed a lot of mackintoshes for ma and my family, so I have experience. but never a nun or similar ultra compact. I plan to use this mini computer for writing and internet surfing, will love to have everything working.

Bluetooth on 10.15 seems somewhat flakey. I don't really use it and haven't spent much time trying to fix it.
